Customer Review Summary
Matcha is the drink reviewers raise most, with the white chocolate and coconut white chocolate versions called great and exceptional, and one describing a thick, satisfying cup. Close behind are the pocket toasts, especially the rib-eye and egg, and the Tokyo chicken sandwich, called delicious. Reviewers also single out the Spanish latte, the iced latte, seasoned chips and fresh cakes. Staff are described as welcoming and accommodating even when the place is busy, and the interior as modern, clean and relaxing. The caveats are practical. A couple of reviewers say prices run a little higher than nearby cafés, and one adds that anyone sensitive about pricing may not enjoy it. One diner was told to wait for a table, then watched others seat themselves and was told a table had opened upstairs. That diner also found the music loud enough that the server at the till struggled to hear. Another finds the coffee bean a bit too bitter. One reviewer loved the Spanish latte enough to buy a coffee tumbler to take to work.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visited Kohii, a newly opened café on Wigan Road in Bolton, and I really liked the place! ☕😍 The café has a beautiful, aesthetic interior with a really cool and relaxing seating area. The coffee is great, whether you prefer it hot or cold, and the sandwiches are really tasty and fresh. They also have some lovely fresh cakes, which are definitely worth trying! 🥪🍰 The only downside is that the prices are a little higher compared to other places in the area, but honestly, the quality, atmosphere, and overall experience make it worth it. It’s a lovely spot to sit down, enjoy a good coffee, or catch up with friends. Definitely a great addition to the local area. Wishing them all the best with their new café! ❤️”

“Food was fantastic so was the drink. Server was a bit clueless, we were told to wait 20mins for a table. Then waited a few minutes only to see other people just helping themselves to a table. We queried and got told there was one now available upstairs even though minute or two before he said it was all full. The background music/sound was loud and the server at the till struggled to hear/understand. other then that Food and drinks were good.”

“Report to this establishment IMMEDIATELY. -Firstly customer service is insane, gorgeous girl Malaykah was kind and friendly. Everyone there was good vibes. - The interior design was well thought out. Plenty of seating. Fresh, clean and modern. - The food. Solid 10/10. Good portions, succulent rib eye and egg. Small menu means no decision fatigue. - Excellent matcha, thick and satisfying. Saw them weighing the powder before whisking. Defo my type of people 🤌 The experience felt premium, so if you’re sensitive with pricing then this is NOT for you. If you want to treat yourself now and again, I’m excited for you to try it x”

“Very popular but managed to get a seat easily! Got the tokyo sandwich which was delicious. Coconut white chocolate matcha was exceptional, strong matcha flavour which I love. There is a small car park outside, you get 3 hours free parking if you type your reg plate on the tablet when you come in. Note that food is only served until 6pm”

“Absolutely loved our visit! We had the Tokyo Chicken, Ribeye Toast, Seasoned Chips, Strawberry Lemonade, Red Bull Crush and the Spanish Latte — honestly, everything was amazing! 🤩 A special thank you to S____ for her recommendations. Everything she suggested was spot on, and we really enjoyed every bit of it. The aesthetics of the café are unreal, the food was WOW, and the coffee was even better! ☕️😍 I loved the Spanish Latte so much that I ended up getting one of their coffee tumblers to take to work! Absolutely loved the whole experience and will definitely be back for more. Thank you! ❤️”
