  “Popped into Aliona for the first time today, initially just for a coffee, and was really impressed from the moment I walked through the door. The mum and daughter team are lovely and made me feel really welcome. They even offered me a taster of their refreshing infused water with mint and citrus, which was a lovely touch and a great way to cleanse the palate. I also spotted their freshly made pumpkin doughnuts and couldn't resist trying one! It was a really nice addition to my coffee. Having looked through the menu, the choice of breakfasts and dinner options looks fantastic, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Honestly, the quality of the menu and the ambience give me the impression of somewhere you'd expect to find in Manchester city centre, but with much better value for money. It's always great to see a local mum-and-daughter team putting so much care into their business. Friendly service, thoughtful little touches and a welcoming atmosphere make a real difference. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Horwich. I'll be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommended! ☕🍩👏”

  “Went today 13th August. Our 49th wedding anniversary and my husband David's 74th birthday. What an amazing place. Glad I booked a table as it was very busy. Loved the food, service brilliant and a nice surprise of birthday cake from the staff. And as its licensed David enjoyed a couple of beers. I didn't know they served alcohol. We will definitely go again”

  “Dasha was amazing with both me and my boyfriend. She made sure we had everything we needed and was super helpful and patient helping us choose what to eat. The atmosphere in the cafe was fabulous and the food was even better! I highly recommend this place to go for dinner! We will definitely be returning :)”

  “Absolutely recommend !! I have previously bought cakes from Aliona before she had the cafe which have always been delicious but have only just had the chance to come to her cafe to try out the food. As soon as we walked through the door the staff were super welcoming. The food was incredible with tons of choice for everyone including regular food , vegan and gluten free options all fairly priced, looked and tasted amazing. There is a wide range of delicious drinks to choose from and tons of yummy desserts. We came in with my dog and the lady who served us (Dasha who runs the cafe with Aliona ) was incredible with him by bringing him a pupcup as soon as we got there to bringing him some sausages so that he could eat with us. I will definitely be coming again and know that from now on my dog will always try and pull me in when walking past. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

  “Great little family-run local cafe. The coffee is really good and the food is fantastic. Staff are always friendly and welcoming which makes the place feel even nicer. The environment is relaxed and comfortable, a great place to just chill for a bit. Definitely recommended!”

  “Stopped by for the first time while my car was being valeted at Lesi Carwash and what a lovely find! The latte was absolutely superb, the staff were so warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was just perfect. We were even lucky enough to have some gorgeous sunshine, so I sat outside and really enjoyed the moment. Such a great little spot; I’ll definitely be back!”

  “Absolutely loved this café! The food is amazing, the smoothies are some of the best I’ve ever had, and the matcha is really good as well. The staff are incredibly friendly with excellent customer service. It’s so good I ended up going every day last week! Would defo recommend❤️”

  “Hands down my favourite place to go. The food is amazing, the desserts are delicious, the coffee is wonderful and the staff are just lovely. I have never been a regular customer anywhere, but find myself returning to Aliona, numerous times a month. I cannot recommend Aliona enough! Thank you ladies!”
