Customer Review Summary
Cakes draw the most praise here, with one Saturday regular calling the cheesecake fabulous. Close behind are the cooked dishes: a breakfast described as tasty, hot and perfectly cooked, a pesto pasta one reviewer calls the best they have ever tasted, and tagliatelle with prawns in good portion sizes. Several say the food is home cooked from locally sourced ingredients at reasonable prices. Volunteers and staff earn repeated mentions for a warm, friendly welcome, and one reviewer mentions a listening ear for anyone who needs it. As a charity arts space, it also offers changing art exhibitions, cards and hand-crafted gifts from local crafters, and creative workshops. One reviewer notes the cafe was really busy on their visit. A regular who spends most Saturday mornings here says a slice of that cheesecake is hard to come by.

“I came across this gem of a place by accident. What a hidden Bolton delight this is! The service was welcoming and highly professional. When I say I had the best pesto pasta I have ever tasted in my life, I mean it. It was beautiful. Wonderfully presented and an absolute bargain of a price. I will definitely be back to sample their other food… if I can be tempted away from the pesto pasta, that is. Highly recommend visiting this place for food. You definitely will not be disappointed.”

So good in fact I’m going back tomorrow for breakfast with my partner 🙆🏼♀️🤣 too good! What a place!”
