  “Wow where do i begin… i know what with the succulent chicken!! it was simply amazing, respect to the grillers they are very talented indeed, pro tip go when james is at the grill he makes a mean butterfly 🔥, the front staff are quick and efficient Pro tip : Get the saka sauce its saka-licious”

  “Really disappointed with my visit to Nando's Boldon today. The food was cold and incredibly dry right from the start. My Double Chicken Pitta was completely dried out, and the chicken inside was basically rubber. On top of that, my friend specifically asked for no spices on their food, but it arrived with spice on it anyway. We flagged it to the staff and they took the plates back to sort it out. I honestly couldn't believe it when they brought it back—instead of actually cooking a fresh portion, they clearly just took the exact same rubbery chicken and completely drowned it in sauce to try and hide the fact that it was dry. Absolutely terrible food and really lazy service. Definitely won't be returning to this branch anytime soon.”

  “There was a particularly rowdy group in whilst we came for food here but staff handled the situation very well - particularly Sylvia, who ensured ourselves and other customers were sat in a more quiet area and was apologetic for the noise. All the Staff remained professional and handled the situation very well. Despite disruptive diners- we had a great experience, food was good and arrived quickly. Will definitely return!”

  “Really impressed with this Nando’s! The service was exceptional! Truly! Credit to the team that work here! They went above and beyond with ensuring everything I had was coeliac safe! They also made me feel at ease, as though it wasn’t too much trouble to cater for coeliac disease, which meant a lot! There were so many gluten free options too! The food itself was amazing! Super fresh and flavoursome! Wow! I highly HIGHLY recommend!”

  “Me and my daughter went for lunch and half way through her chicken wrap she spat somthing chewy out only to realise it was a plaster! Full of pus. Manager was already making excuses so I confronted the kitchen members myself and asked who was wearing a pink plaster the chef admitted it was him and quickly ran off into the other room next door. No apologies nothing other than trying to cover up the situation. Disgusting will never eat Nando’s again !”

  “Food was great however it took around 3 attempts to get my meal correct which was embarrassing to have to keep explaining, they were very busy and lovely about it but even the last time they brought the food out they forgot I’d ordered seasoned fries. Regardless this was fixed with some packets of seasoning. The food was still lovely and the staff were clearly just overwhelmed. This has not stopped us enjoying a cheeky Nando’s. It was a little loud for me but that’s expected at tea time on a Thursday, I guess.”

  “Very friendly staff. Food was alright, only real complaint was that the garlic bread was a little burnt and the garlic had turned bitter because of this. One of the group had allergies and whilst it was good that their food was separated, it was several minutes between theirs arriving and the rest of the meals. There was also inconsistency in the portion sizes of the sides - the same sides on different plates were quite different. The final issue is that the gents toilet cubicle had a broken lock.”

  “One of the best Nando’s I have visited. The food was great (especially the halloumi!) and the interior design is fantastic. Lovely staff and in a convenient spot. Perfect place to have some food after watching a movie next door! I would definitely recommend this Nando’s.”
