“The quality of food is starting to go down hill over the past 6 months.. The fish not as good a quality as once was, and the chips are poor also. The main factor though is the frying, everything is just pale in colour, no crispness to the batter and the bottoms of the fish with said batter is like chewing what I can only imagine as slightly set wallpaper paste… chips look as if they have anaemia and just swimming in grease leaving a horrible taste also… please sort this out !! You only have to look at the reviews to see others are stating the same, so it clearly is an issue… hats off to the staff though, they are absolutely fantastic and always give service with a smile… a great chippy, but sadly in decline somewhat !”

“Really tasty food. I loved the batter. The chips were how I like them too. I thought the mushy peas were a bit runny for my taste but it's subjective. Definitely my chippy of choice going forward. Great choice of fish too!”
