“I know things change and get more expensive but it looks like a lot of the quality and standards have hit rock bottom since my original review. Cold food and inedible gravy and the bottomless sundae is now just bottomless ice-cream. Very disappointed. We often go for the breakfast buffet as you can get everything you want, instead of having to ask to leave things off and get extra something else. Always very friendly service, especially from Amy. Lovely food by chef Lisa. Excellent value for money. Very spacious setting.”

“We had such a lovely time at the Old Mother Redcap. From start to finish everything was great — the food was delicious and the place had such a lovely atmosphere. But what really stood out was Erinn! She was absolutely fantastic — so friendly, welcoming, and really knew her stuff. She had such a cracking personality and made us feel right at home. Service with a smile like that makes all the difference. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended! 😊”

“Visited over the weekend for a brekkie with the girls for our annual monthly visit. Selection was good and everything we needed. A server even had us giggling. I believe she was called Chloe. Great atmosphere and spacious for high chairs. Thank you again!”
