“Excellent pub food menu with price point to match. A pub of 2 sides, plenty of space. Pool and high tables with bar vibe at the back and lounge at front. Plenty of banquet seating and this is always a plus. Dog friendly, customer friendly, big garden, no weird vibes; Refreshing for this corner of the shire. Worth our hike up the hill.”

“Ordered 2 roast dinners, chicken and beef for £14.95 each. A full plate..sadly the Yorkshires were frozen in the middle, the half chicken appeared to have been deep fried and the parsnips were hard. Shame really as the portion size was pretty good.”

“Beer was what I expected decor was nice , beer garden was lovely , disabled toilets bit of a struggle for an above knee amputee in a mobility scooter , one member of staff was in my opinion a bit rude , I felt quite embarrassed , help would be better than hindrance”
