“Beware this is more of a pub that does food than an actual restaurant. The chips are frozen store bought. I had the Lamb burger which was tender and quite nice however had a small patty, came with a tiny portion of chips and 2 small onion rings. This didn't fill me and cost 15 quid. Friend got the duck loaded sharing platter, this came with approx 6 small pieces of duck and absolutely loaded with (store bought) chips. Also i was waiting at the bar while the staff were sat in a booth until someone from the kitchen had to come out and tell them to serve. I only visit since its close by but I'd recommend finding somewhere with higher quality and cheaper prices.”

“A quick check of the toilets on entry as you can tell a lot about a place on the condition of the facilities and they were spotless as was the rest of the pub. There were 5 adults and a newborn in our party and we all ordered food and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, I had the pan-fried Sea Bass on a bed of potato stew which was amazing. They have an excellent selection of drinks on offer, I partook in a couple of pints Moorhouses which was spot on. Finally big shout to the staff who were all wonderful and a credit to the business. Highly recommended”
