I had the **Charsi Karahi with a generous tarka, accompanied by the Chapli Kebab**, and every dish was beautifully prepared. The karahi was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, with the tarka adding an incredible depth of flavour. The Chapli Kebab was equally impressive—succulent, well-seasoned, and full of authentic character. The quality, presentation, and flavours genuinely stood out. A wonderful experience for anyone who appreciates authentic Pakistani cuisine. **Highly recommended.**”

  “Amazing experience - food tastes just like Pakistan. We throughly enjoyed charsi karahi, chapli, kabuli pulao, chicken seekh& malai tikka. We would order all these again. Even my kids enjoyed the food so much. Service was very nice; hospitable staff. Very fresh food made to order. Highly recommend”

  “This was, without a doubt, the worst customer experience I've ever had. We came in after a long day of shopping. It was around 30°C, absolutely boiling, and we'd travelled all the way from Blackburn. We were exhausted and just wanted to have a nice meal before heading home. When we arrived, we were seated and politely asked if we could move to a table with a fan. It wasn't exactly a huge request considering almost every table had one directly above it (as you can see in the photos). Fast forward... we never got a table with a fan. We asked multiple times, even when the table right next to us was empty. We were repeatedly told it was "reserved"—yet the entire time we were there, not a single person sat there. Apparently, the empty table was more important than actual paying customers. Then my husband ordered a cheeseburger with mayo. It arrived with no mayo at all, so he simply asked if they could add some. Instead of adding a normal amount, they absolutely DROWNED the bun in mayo. It was literally soaked (see the photos). I've genuinely never seen anything like it. They handed it back as if that was completely normal. To top it all off, the lamb karahi was mostly fat with barely any actual meat. It was practically inedible, but by that point we were so tired, hungry, and fed up that we just forced ourselves to eat it because we couldn't be bothered dealing with any more disappointment. The whole place was a complete shambles from start to finish. Poor service, poor food, and absolutely no care for customer comfort. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone—especially elderly customers. If you think you'll be allowed to sit under one of the many fans on a scorching hot day, think again.”

  “I had a fantastic experience at Taste of Khyber. The food was delicious, full of authentic flavour, and served fresh. Every dish was cooked to perfection, making it a truly enjoyable meal. A special mention goes to Haris, who provided outstanding customer service. He was quick, professional, and very attentive throughout our visit. His friendly attitude and efficiency made the whole dining experience even better. I would definitely recommend Taste of Khyber to anyone looking for authentic Pakistani/Afghan cuisine with excellent service. I’ll certainly be coming back!”

  “Had a fantastic experience at Taste of Khyber. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. The portions were generous and offered great value for money. Everything we ordered was delicious, with authentic flavours that really stood out. It’s a great place for a family meal or a gathering with friends.   “Tried Mixed Grill!!. Wow, what an incredible mixed grill platter! The variety of charcoal-grilled meats, including the succulent chicken tikka and flavourful lamb pieces, was simply outstanding. The meat was perfectly cooked, ensuring amazing juiciness and impressive tenderness throughout the entire dish. The chicken, in particular, was marinated with delicious spices making it incredibly flavourful. This is definitely a must-try for any meat lover!"”

  “Went based on recommendation. The food was excellent. We had Afghan Kebab for a starter, it was grilled cube meat like nothing I tasted before. For mains, we had the Lamb Cherasi Karahi, Naan bread and Chicken Dighi. Zishan was very attentive and looked after us and answered all our questions explaining the menu. Best thing was the surprise sugar coated almonds after the meal 😋 Will definitely be coming back again 🙂”

  “Good food. Little grubby especially the toilets but the place is rammed all the time apparently. If turn over of people is high you know food is fresh but at the same time perhaps that why the place isn't that clean. Floor is sticky. 1 toilet and often a que. But you know what it might bother some but not myself. Im there for the food and it was good! Charsi lamb was on the bone 6/10. Not enough sauce Chapli kebab 7/10 Lamb chops,light seasoning but delicious. Back chop pieces were lovely. 8/10 Kheer was creamy but didn't have much rice,not very sweet either. Was more like firni.5/10 I will definitely come again and look forward to trying something else on the menu. Good service and good tasting food.”
