About Roti & Curry Junction
Roti & Curry Junction is a halal restaurant in Birmingham, found at 80 Stoney Ln. The menu pairs breads with mains, and the rotis include makai (corn) and bajra versions that go alongside chicken karahi. Fish kebabs sit on the same menu for those who want a starter or a lighter plate. Chicken curry is also on offer for diners who prefer a simpler main with their bread. The biryani and several of the curries carry chilli heat, so spice lovers have plenty to choose from.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the breads, with rotis described as cheap and tasty, fresh naan, and paranta made with real butter alongside tea. Close behind are the curries and catering. One host describes Mutton Biryani and Fish Kebabs served on time for a large Eid gathering, and a regular drives over weekly for a curry. Several reviewers call the staff polite and kind. The complaints are specific. One reviewer found the makai and bajra rotis disappointing and the saag full of oil. Another calls a chicken curry not authentic and reports a stomach ache for days afterward. A third reports poor service and a piece of broken bangle in a kabab. One reviewer asks for cleaner seating areas. Spice comes up repeatedly: a little too much chilli in the Biryani, pakore that were too spicy for one diner, and hot curries that another frames as a dare.

“I travelled a distance to try out their makai (corn), bajra and saag. I was disappointed. Humble advice - They should stick to just normal roties. Saag was full of oil and not tasty. Worst makai and bajra roti I ever had in my history.”

“Thought I'd try a chicken curry for £7 but the taste wasn't great (not remotely authentic) and it gave me an awful stomach ache with upset stomach for days. It went in the bin!”

“Probably the most respectful and kind bunch of lads who run this business and have done for over 20 years and the food is top notch and the food is always delicious and top quality and not many other places can offer that for the prices they charge. Highly recommend to anyone”

“I had catering from here on the second day of Eid. They cooked a very good meal for 35 people on time. Mutton Biryani, Fish Kebabs, all were very tasty. All our guests liked their food. There was a little too much chilli in the Biryani but overall it was very tasty. Thanks roti junction and their team. Well done!”
