Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often return for the full English breakfast, called excellent and cooked very well, with one describing the large version as budget food that is hard to find these days and another saying a portion could feed two. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, and several call the prices fair, decent or reasonable. A breakfast sandwich on the way to work and Cobs for lunch from the bakery side also earn praise as lovely. The criticism is about inconsistent service. One reviewer says the younger staff give a friendly welcome, but twice met an older member of staff who said, shortly after opening, that nothing was ready, including salad, without offering a wait. Another reports the cafe had no decaf coffee for roughly the seventh time and would not swap in a can of pop, so they now take their breakfast custom to another cafe. Even so, several close on the same point: friendly ladies serving a well cooked breakfast.

“Mugged off this morning couldnt give me a can of pop instead of a decafe coffee because they didn't have any decaff coffee.again got to be about the seventh time now.. I can die if I drink caffeine I've.got Addisons that would of been a law suit for the owners. 7 pounds per breakfast per day around £120 per month you just lost from me. For a can of pop .Went to tyseley instead 6 pounds full breakfast with a decafe coffee embarrassing 😳 don't bother there are much better cafes else where with better service 👍 a very honest review 3 months I've used you for and that's what' i got it was young girl who also works in The paper shop next door just incase you need to know. Probably cash in hand I'll check with dwp I won't use you ever again You deserve this review 💯 remember you don't know who your customers really are do you.”

“Love this place to get my Cobs for me and my colleague for lunch. However when the young ladies are on they are lovely however twice now i have been met by the older lady who does not want to be there. I arrived at 7.10am (opens at 7) and Iwas told got nothing ready I was not offered the chance to wait then just today at 7.40 I was once again told quite angrily "got no salad done yet" once again I was not offered to wait. I think from now on I will look through the window to ensure the younger ladies are serving at least they give a friendly welcome. Other than that lovely food and usually a nice atmosphere. This is the bakery side not the cafe side”
