  “Visited from London. Can only say, the food, ambience and service was impeccable. Laiba who served us was very attentive, so very friendly, polite and efficient. Food tasted fabulous especially the chaat and noodles. Every effort has gone into creating a clean, friendly and vibrant atmosphere at chai green.”

  “I have tried so many of their items and been numerous times but first time reviewing it.. Most recently I tried their chilli chicken stir fry again and as usual it tasted lovely and I also feel they heard my feedback from last time and adjusted the salt since then as it wasn’t salty at all. Their chaat explosion is a favourite with us, I always need to get it as it’s sooo yummy fresh and well prepared. Once again I bought the desi style pasta (red one) and added both chicken and prawns as I’m always spoilt for choice and love both- I loved this! I will defo keep ordering this when I’m trying to watch the weight as I have been recently.. the spices and taste was absolutely amazing with the side of garlic bread complimenting the dish. The rest of our order included their scrumptious Ninja fries with shredded chicken 10/10, halwa puri with chick pea curry 10/10 and chicken shawarma which my niece liked however I’m not so much of a fan but tastes nice, and she always gets it so must be great :) Finally but most importantly their House Chaii is beautiful 🫶🏼 Other foods that I must mention which I’ve tried on other occasions are their burritos ❤️‍🔥, momos 7/10, their chicken toasties are nice, kolkata pasta 7/10, desi breakfast and meal with naan and chicken tikka massala ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 All in all I love this place whenever I’ve come I’ve always loved the food, if you come to alum rock this is a perfect spot for families or friends and even if you’re alone- it has a good layout and plenty of seating preferences Staff are welcoming and lovely xx”

  “Chai Green is a great spot if you’re looking for authentic chai and traditional desserts. The halwa was full of flavour, and the chai was excellent, served in a traditional pot that brought back a lot of memories and made the experience feel even more special. The staff were attentive, welcoming and happy to help throughout. A lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy a proper cup of chai.”

  “Had an amazing time having some drinks and dessert today at chaigreen Service from Humaira and maleeha was an absolute highlight, super kind and very quick! The presentation was really good and we would definitely recommend the pomegranate mocktail”

  “Nice food and service. We had the pani puri and the thaali. For my toddler with allergies, the manager came and asked me about it, spoke to the chef and then they made their red sauce chicken pasta allergy-friendly for him which he enjoyed. Their dishes come in big portions. We also bought the San Sebastian cake and Matilda cake as take-away, both were delicious. Servers were lovely. I only managed to get the names of Hooriya and Maryam, but everyone who came to our table even briefly was very nice and helpful.”

  “What a lovely little spot! Their tea is absolutely divine – perfectly brewed, fragrant and full of flavour, exactly how it should be. But what makes this place even better is the amazing service and wonderful staff. Everyone is so warm, friendly and attentive, making every visit feel special. Great drinks and great people – I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended!”

  “Visited Chai Green late in the evening and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed. The tea wasn’t the best, but what really let the experience down was the red velvet cheesecake, which was served frozen. Even though it was late, cakes really shouldn’t be served in that condition. It was disappointing overall, especially as I was looking forward to the dessert. Hoping this was just a one off, but definitely not the experience I expected.”

The service is consistently outstanding, with very friendly and welcoming staff who make you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are exceptional, which really adds to the overall comfort and confidence in the dining experience. The food is prepared to a top-notch standard, offering great quality at very affordable prices. Location-wise, it’s very convenient, with plenty of parking available nearby making it an easy and stress-free place to visit. Overall, I have no complaints at all. For anyone in the area looking for a reliable, high-quality breakfast spot, Chai Green is definitely the place to go.”

  “The place feels like under new management. The flavours are better. I had tried the keema in the past lacked flavour and main thing was no salt! The tea unfortunately is never karak correct me if anyone finds it different. Its always normal milky tea with less sugar. However massive change on flavours therefore 9/10. Currently they have offer on till end of December 2025 for burger meal.”
