  “Me and my partner were walking up the road to find a quick bite and after what we thought was a no luck moment we stumbled upon Alberto’s cafe, from the moment we walked in we was greeted with a friendly welcome! Ordering process was surprisingly fast and simple. Honestly I don’t normally take my time to leave reviews but I believe some places are worth the recognition! I had the most amazing jacket potato ever! The potato and salad was seasoned to perfection ! ( which is hard to find!) as we were only out for a small bit we weren’t fortunate enough to yet try anything else on the menu but we will definitely be back! the place it self had an amazing feel and its lovely to see people from beautiful backgrounds brining their twist onto basic cuisine dishes! Would definitely recommend, it’s located right beside acocks green train station.”

  “We were very sceptical about coming here with the some of the very negative reviews and hygiene rating but needed something local to the area. From entering the cafe with the quirky decor, to the very friendly lady behind the counter our experience has been amazing! It’s such a beautiful little find and we will definitely be back! The breakfast was incredibly tasty, the perfect amount of everything, cooked how we asked it to be cooked and perfect little extra touches. The best breakfast we’ve both had for a very long time. We sat outside the back in the cute little garden listening to the birds singing and drinking our delicious coffee. I couldn’t rate this place any higher … so happy we found it!”

  “Amazing place, Alberto used to get a great Italian wine from us back in the day! His breakfast is famous in Acocks Green and its highly recommended by all. There is plenty of parking, just go to the train station parking and walk up. Go for "The Breakfast" what an absolute bang for your buck.”

  “Visited for the first time, my colleague had a breakfast and I had toast and coffee. I really liked the quirky decor and has inspired me to lay on an event with the Meet Up group sometime. I've updated the menu.”

  “The food was great. Staff and customers very relaxed and friendly. Lovely decor and a great log burner to keep you cosy. They have open mic on a Thursday and you can bring music you’ve made yourself. Such an interesting and varied evening, great fun.”

  “A real gem of a fine. From the outside you'd probably pass this place and think nothing of it but honestly it's probably the best cafe around for miles. First time coming here and you could tell the chef really cares about the food he sends out. Nicest sandwich I've had in ages and nice to enjoy it in a place with some character and not some lifeless coffee chain. I'll be back regularly!”

  “This cafe is unimaginable in the best way possible, I simply couldn’t believe how beautiful and magical the entire place looks and feels. The decoration is impeccable and the English breakfast had to be THE BEST breakfast me and my partner have had ever. Congratulations on achieving the best imaginable cafe in Birmingham. I had the mini breakfast and I couldn’t finish it, forgot to mention the hash brown and mushrooms were absolutely delicious”

  “The pictures do NOT do this place justice. The front yard is amazing, is accommodating, then when you enter you're mesmerised by the simple, but effective layout that draws you in. The atmosphere is so peaceful, the friendly welcoming vibe just relaxes you, the food is perfectly cooked, presented like your royalty. Alberto and family have put so much effort into making this place NOT only different to any other cafe but a lot better than them all. Don't take my word, come down, have a coffee, have a meal, have an alcohol beverage and just enjoy the stress of your day slip away.”

  “This place has such a lovely atmosphere inside or in the garden. Anna and Alberto are wonderful hosts, friendly, keen to share their place. The menus is limited but done well. The price is very reasonable . Apparently the Sunday BBQ’s are the weeks best. They say music available at weekends- would be keen to visit at evenings or at weeeknds.”
