  “Booked for late lunch for a birthday catch up with family. Did not disappoint. Great service from Emma, Helen, Heather and Kelly. Food was delivered by friendly staff, piping hot and well cooked to everybody’s liking. Great menu choices for everybody. Thank you. We will return. Highly recommended”

  “Was hoping it would be nicer after the refit and it is but food was pretty bland we had the 5 "tapas" style dishes it says 3 between 2 but you definitely need the 5. It's basically a sports bar TV's everywhere so not easy to have a conversation while eating. Staff aren't particularly helpful and I was basically an interruption to the lady who served me know was more interested in moaning she'd lost a shift to another member of staff who was the other side of the bar not working. No cask Ales available but then as a sports bar it might not be worth keeping on. Overall a MEH experience at best.”

  “The food was really nice but i just want to emphasise how welcome me and my family felt who were looked after by the lovely red haired young lady on friday evening. The customer service from this young lady was extraordinary she made sure we had everything we could possibly want, will definitely be back again xxx”

  “Wanted to give this place another chance as local but waiting times for food is too long even though it wasn't busy. Food was not the best either but it was edible. And the male staff member behind the bar was very rude. Won't be returning. Two stars because we found a clean table and the drinks were nice.”

  “Never disappoints. Consistent food and drink and service! Kids eat for a quid on a Monday, with every adult meal. Nice for a chesp family meal out! Sweet chilli chicken is bang on, every time 😋”

  “I spoke to a lovely waitress called kelly she ensured we enjoyed our visit and everything was ok with the food . Told us about all the great deals and offers they have going on at the minute ! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ❤️🙂”

  “Plenty of parking. When we entered it seemed quiet, lacked atmosphere. Ordered off the app, so no engagement really with staff. Ordered off the 2 for ,£14 menu. Ordered fish and chips which looked lovely but when I cut into it, it was raw in the middle. They did exchange for something else but I had lost my appetite. The couple of staff I engaged with were professional.”

  “Would like to thank all staff at the stag. We had a lovely meal this evening . The day before we had a few problems with the food but they couldn’t do enough for us tonight. Food was lovely really enjoyed it.Staff were brilliant . As a family we have had a lot of meals in the stag we wouldn’t have been put off just because we had a bad meal. It happens some times. Thankyou so much.”

  “We stopped by for lunch one Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find a roast on the menu! We both went for the chicken and were very pleased – there was plenty on the plate and it was tasty (the carrots were a bit too crunchy for our taste, but our server said they would feed that back to the kitchen). Plenty of gravy too, and our server also checked if we needed more which was a nice touch. The other staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and it was clean and tidy throughout. We’ll definitely be back!”

  “I’ve visited the Stag and Three Horses a few times now, and every visit has been great. I’m a fan of cocktails, especially a Pornstar Martini, and on my second visit I spotted it on the menu. When I ordered, the lovely bar staff were still learning how to make it. Martin? Or Mark lol (behind the bar) encouraged Kelly to give it a go, and she had me in stitches as she learned the steps — at one point the shaker even spilled everywhere, (on another staff member) 🙈😂 which made it all the more entertaining! She made the drink perfectly in the end, and it was delicious. Two weeks later I came back, ordered the same meal and cocktail, and Kelly remembered me straight away. She laughed and said, “I remember you from last time ” 😂 before having another go at the cocktail — and nailed it again! 😊 The staff here are friendly, funny, and make the atmosphere feel welcoming. Service is excellent, the food and drinks are spot on, and the whole experience is really enjoyable. Definitely a pub worth visiting, especially if you want somewhere with personality as well as great food and drinks”
