Quick info
About The Garden Bar
The Garden Bar is a bar and grill on Birmingham New Road in Wolverhampton, set up for walk-ins throughout the day and into the evening. A DJ plays inside during the daytime, which shapes the room well before the kitchen moves into its evening grill-led rhythm. Counter service covers drinks at the bar alongside the kitchen, and the front of house turns tables over on a walk-in basis with no reservations taken. Food is ordered for the table, with the grill carrying the menu through from lunchtime into the late hours. The bar sits just off the main road out of Wolverhampton, on the 200 block of Birmingham New Road, making it a straightforward stop whether the visit is for a daytime DJ session or an evening grill plate.

“Very loud inside there was a dj on in the daytine ? Indian man with glasses around 45 plus behind bar was arrogant. Ladies behind bar were friendly though. Food was a bit bland, flies flying around and decor is very outdated. Needs a good refurb and cleaning and menus were filthy..”

“Absolutely awful my son didn’t like the food that we paid full price for! He didn’t touch the food as he tried mine , and he said it was to spicy! I asked for a refund which they objected! Awful service and I will never eat there again ! My son is 10 years old his first experience at a World Cup football match , I wanted to make it the best experience ever and they spoiled it totally, I wouldn’t recommend this place ever totally disrespected”
