  “I've been coming to the Ruhi for years, and it remains one of my favourite spots for a curry on the Wirral. The food is consistently excellent – the chicken murgh with apricots is absolutely exquisite and takes me back to dishes my dad used to make . The portions are generous, the flavours are rich, and the staff are always polite and welcoming, even when they're run off their feet . A massive bonus is the bring-your-own-alcohol policy. You can take your own beer or wine, which makes the final bill incredibly reasonable, especially if you're going with a group . It's a large restaurant, so it's perfect for parties and family gatherings, and they're well-known for their excellent Christmas Day service . For around £20, you can get poppadoms, a starter, a main with rice, and a naan – brilliant value. It's a Wirral classic for a reason. If you want a tasty, no-fuss curry with friendly service, this is the place.”

  “Visited here after a long time, I heard it went downhill from friends but that wasn't the case! Staff were amazing food was above average. The food was plentiful to fill. My only quarms was the meal was advertised as medium (hot was an option) I ordered medium as I wasn't familiar with what I ordered (I like to try something new) and it had no spice in. I also ordered the king prawn puree. I imagined a spiced puree on breas but this wasn't the case. It was cut up prawn in spices. Prawns were slightly overcooked. The rest of the meal was good and would happily go back. There was a woman in there screaming "do you know who my family is" to someone else so atmosphere wasn't the best haha”

  “We went tonight as part of a curry club trying different restaurants on the wirral. We were warmly greeted by the staff and sat down at the table of 6.We were a little cramped but it was not worth making a fuss. The waiter came and took our orders after we had been served with our poppadoms and condiments which were very tasty Our different starters came out without much of a wait and were also very nice.We all had different curry's and rice and naans and cannot fault the food and the amount we recieved. All in all it was a great night and would highly recommend to anyone who loves a good curry”

  “My parents said they'd visited here over 10 years prior, and I can now see why this business is still here! After walking in as the only people in at 5:30, we were seated and got our drinks straight away. The fabulous lamb kebabs held us over until our delicious main course arrived, which also was spectacular. The atmosphere is great, cozy and and the servers polite and conversational. I would advise to take advantage of the bring your own drinks due to the prices of those drinks, but I'm pleased with the value and exceptional quality, and also the service. I can understand people claiming busy times, because this is a restaurant you should definitely visit.”
