“I’ve been coming to this place since I moved here and the food was always really nice and the service polite . The last two times I’ve ordered the food was tasteless . The young lady behind the till when I collected was extremely rude and had a bad attitude. Puts me off coming again . Such a shame as the Chinese lady is always friendly and welcoming. I won’t be ordering again”

“Been here a few times and they have never let me down. The food is always so delicious and being able to see the food be prepared behind the counter is a really nice touch. The staff are lovely people and the lad and girl taking the orders are really friendly too. I would highly recommend!”

“Very expensive tasteless food big portions but mainly onions, only 4 prawns in the king prawn noodles at nearly £9.00 this is not good value for money. There are much better Chinese takeaways than this one. First time on recommendations but also the last time.”

“Really disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. The chow mein was flavourless and dry. The salt and pepper beancurd was also dry and flavourless, just pieces of beancurd chucked on top of spring onions and chilli. The duck pancakes were the only good dish, but the cucumber looked old and dry too. Apart from the duck, everything was quite cold too”

“Me and my partner have come to this place ever since moving to Berkhamsted around 18 months ago. I feel certain that anyone complaining about the front desk service has never met an Asian Aunty in the service industry in their lives. The service is perfectly fine, they have taken the time to learn my name even though I'm not in there every week and we have never had any problems with the food which has always been top notch (and we have ordered the length and breadth of the menu!). An order of their Grilled pork dumplings, big spring rolls, pork and Pak choi and medium special rice are a good starting point for anyone looking to share and try this for the first time.”

“I first moved to Berkhamsted 2 years ago and really enjoyed this take away but the last 3 times I’ve used it, the vegetarian Singapore rice noodles have been dry and not spicy at all. Sadly disappointed…. I hope they sort it out soon… 1 more try and then I think I’ll have to look elsewhere .”

“I recently tried Lots of Rice for a takeaway, and it did not disappoint! The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. The salt and pepper chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the fried rice was full of flavor. Quick service and great value for money. Definitely my new go-to for Chinese takeout!”

“First time of using this take away. We have struggled to find a decent Chinese takeaway locally but this was highly recommended to my husband and I have to say we weren’t disappointed. He said that the restaurant was spotless and the food was cooked freshly in front of him. The quality was really good and the portion sizes were generous, we were delighted to find a local takeaway that is so good and will definitely be going back again and again.”
