What reviewers say
Reviewers most often mention set meal D, beef mushroom, crispy aromatic duck and hot and sour soup.
Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the generous, freshly cooked portions, with the beef mushroom called possibly the best one reviewer has had, and the set meal D singled out for super portion sizes. Close behind, the hot and sour soup and crispy aromatic duck earn praise, and several say the food arrives piping hot. A few travel six or seven miles to collect, and one says the trip is well worth it, though that reviewer suggests collecting rather than relying on delivery. The caveats are real. Three reviews are negative: one found the prawn toast thin and burnt and the noodles and rice tasteless, another called the crispy chilli beef appalling with half the order inedible, and a third asked for boiled rice, received egg fried and had to waste it because of an egg allergy. Several customers also wish the shop would drop its cash only policy, since few carry cash anymore. One reviewer walked in, ordered and left with a meal within ten minutes.

“Hot and sour soup exactly that. Crispy aromatic duck very good. We had a take away. Their is a chinese takeaway on pur toen but we travelled about 6 miles to collect our meal and were not disappointed.”

“All I can say is that it was edible, but it really was terrible food. The prawn toast was really thin and burnt, the noodles were tasteless, as was the rice. And after ordering it was ready ten minutes later. It definitely wasn't cooked fresh. £40 for horrible food. Would never buy from here again.”

“China China fantastic food, always fresh. Ive been to a lot of Takeaways and this is the best ive been to in a long time. when the food is delivered its still piping hot even through its a 10 minute journey to my house.”

“Really good Chinese takeaway, can’t fault the food. For a traditional Chinese takeaway this is as good as any. However I wish they would drop their cash only policy. These days few of us carry cash and getting some out merely for your Chinese on a Saturday night is a hassle. I understand that they do accept a cheque, However I can’t remember when I last wrote and don’t think I even have a valid cheque book. Please invest in a PDQ machine China, China and you’d be perfect.”

“Do not buy from here. Half of our food was completely inedible! What a waste of £41. The crispy chilli beef was appalling, was hoping to have found a new go to Chinese but have seemed to find one to AVOID.”
