This is strictly takeaway-first. Décor and dine-in experience are irrelevant here; you’re ordering for convenience. Service is fast, functional, and transactional. Food quality is solid for a local takeaway, not gourmet, but dependable when you want something familiar without surprises. Bottom line: good local Chinese takeaway, strong on portion size and classic dishes. Ideal for quick dinners and repeat orders. Not a destination—just a reliable workhorse.”

  “Would've been a 5 star but... So firstly, this has had to have been the best chinese i've ever had, for both portion size and quality, as well as price. The ribs were massive and great price and tasted amazingly, as did everything else. Only downside is that there was a couple of what seemed to be egg shells in with my ribs, not sure how they got there or why but yeah, not the best. Otherwise amazing food and would definitely order again in the future.”

  “We had a very nice takeaway from Station Cafe near the Hemel Hempstead train station. Everybody we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The food was cooked very well and was tasty. All my family really enjoyed the food from Station Cafe and will definitely return as soon as we can. We would highly recommend Station Cafe to all.”

  “Honestly the worst Chinese I've ever had. The schezwan sauce was SO bland and tasteless, it was like eating thick water with chili flakes in. I'm convinced everything is just microwaved. They somehow managed to mess up the order of boiled rice and gave me egg fried rice... This is the only Chinese restaurant I've ever come across that doesn't serve sweet chili sauce!?? The whole meal tasted like they really don't care anymore, and you get the exact same impression from the customer service. 1 star for this place is being extremely generous! AVOID AVOID AVOID”

  “I wish I could give 0 stars. We placed a delivery and was told 1 hour and a half delivery. It had been 1 hour 45 minutes so we phoned and asked where it was and was told it was out for delivery. We live a 15 min drive max and it then reached over 2 hours and phoned once again to be told they couldn't get hold of the driver but he was out for delivery. We were told we would get a phone call back but never did so we then had to phone again as clearly it was a lie and there was no delivery out. The woman we spoke to was incredibly rude and just spoke over us saying 'do you want to cancel then?' Over and over. There is no way they would happily cancel such a big order. So they had totally forgotten about an order that was over £60 and could not care less that they had just left us waiting for over 2 hours for food. We weren't even offered a discount and then was left hungry and having to go elsewhere. We have ordered from them before and the wait time has alwas been awful but we have never experienced such disgusting customer service. wouldn't recommend unless you want to be left hungry and spoken to with no respect.”
