  “I enjoy chips and onion rings from the Cod and Cow. I am not aware of any other vegetarian dishes on offer. A lot of customers order online or on the phone; I haven't yet tried either. The staff are helpful and always estimate how long food will take. This takeaway is frequently busy.”

  “Our takeaway just now was dry and overcooked..so disappointed. Not like it was ..loads of old burnt chips..dry overcooked fish..keep warm to long maybe ..terrible most went in the bin ..we won't be eating here again.. sorry but so very poor”

  “I was in the shop this evening ordered a taco chip with mince beef taco chip and sauce which I was charged for a fish which agrees and oil was running out of it and a kids meeting and a chip with taco sauce. I didn’t receive the tackle chip, so when we rang up, they asked us to come back up and they wouldn’t charge us for what we had already paid for very good of them and very good that they have asked us to come back for their mistake. The guy who seems to be taking the orders seems a bit incompetent so we ordered four things and even over the four things to ask us do we want salt and vinegar on them all we said yes so when they go to wrap it up again do you want an even over each item instead of saying do you want salt and vinegar still on everything our answer was yes I can honestly say I have been here a few times and I don’t think I will be back.”

  “Something has changed from the last time I was there, it’s either the oil or the potatoes but most of the chips were soft, the kids that had the battered chicken strips said they tasted different not unpleasant just different and it was the same with the fish. We do eat it in the car so it doesn’t lose its crispiness but not this time.”

  “I have to say this place is unreal! The only place I've ever ate a chicken burger and the grease was running out over my fingers (photos attached) and the only place I've ever seen a small Taco chip priced at £10.00. Honestly avoid!”

  “We are very lucky that this is our local chippy. The fish and chips are incredible as are the burgers. They have a handy online ordering system so you don’t have to wait very long, highly recommend”
