  “We ate here and I had one of the best dishes I've ever eaten, the fisherman's pie. It has four different kinds of fish in it, creamy and moorish but somehow light as well. 1000 out of 10 experience. We also had the Guinness sticky toffee pudding, which the hype was totally justified over. The interior of this place was also cozy, bright, and inviting.”

  “They recently added a vegetarian/vegan section to the menu! Delicious selections available. We enjoyed a salad and the pan boxty. Both excellent. Friendly service and nice ambience!”

  “We chose this place for dinner in Belfast, and I would definitely recommend making a reservation before you go. The service, food quality, and overall dining experience were absolutely excellent. These are the dishes we tried from the menu: * GOAT’S CHEESE FRITTERS We loved this starter so much. If we go back, we would definitely order it again. * HOLOHAN’S PAN BOXTY If you are only going to order one main course, this should absolutely be your choice. I had the roast chicken with mushroom & tarragon cream version, and it was fantastic. * HOLOHAN’S COTTAGE PIE Very tasty and comforting — a great option if you want to try a more traditional dish. * GUINNESS STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING The dessert was truly impressive and the perfect ending to the meal.”

  “Delicious & vegan friendly! After a full day out on the Antrim Coast we wanted a hearty meal and we got it at Holohan’s. Vegan pie with mash and veg was so delicious. Expensive but worth it as a treat. Partner also got the rhubarb and apple crumble for dessert & drinks were good too.”

  “Quite literally one of my favourite restaurants in Belfast. This classic Irish setting provides a classic and familiar atmosphere. The food is beyond exemplary. To date I have never had a bad meal. I as an obligate carnivore surprisingly I cannot recommend their vegetarian options more strongly (I had a Celeriac and Fennel boxty and it has been one of the nicest things I've eaten in years). Service is always brilliant and the team are responsive, knowledgeable and pleasant. A must on any food tour of Belfast.”

  “We were recommended to come here and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The service was friendly and personable. The food was very comforting and extremely filling. The restaurant and vibes were homely. The food was delicious and yummy. My brother loved the mince meat boxy and the best on the menu was the dessert - sticky toffee pudding was utterly yummy.”
