  “Had a table booked for 4pm on Monday afternoon, got seated and 15 minutes had passed and nobody had came by for even a drink order or nothing. There was empty food plates sitting all around us on other tables and had been sitting there since we arrived. I understand it may have been busy or other circumstances but was just not happy with the service at all - it was for my partners birthday also and it just dampened the mood after looking around the restaurant and waiting. Ended up walking out and getting food elsewhere. They didn’t reference check the name or anything either that was booked for the table , so I don’t know if the personal requests part when you’re making a reservation for the table is being looked at ( I also had one of these in). Probably wouldn’t come back after this”

  “Justin, our server was absolutely brilliant, friendly and dead on! Very welcoming and friendly, made us feel home and there was no time needed for any orders as he was always on the top of the game! Definitely coming back to this friendly atmosphere! Justin is the best!!!”

  “I attended recently with a large group of students. Booking was simple and easy and a phone call with manager ensured all the details were confirmed. We had such a warm welcome and supportive staff helped us all get settled. Food was tasty and prices were great. Would definitely recommend for large group bookings! :)”

  “Had a really nice experience at Frankie & Benny’s in Belfast. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant had a great vibe for both families and friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was smooth from start to finish. The food was fresh, tasty, and arrived quickly, with good portion sizes for the price. There’s a solid variety on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan options, and the cocktails were excellent too. The location in Victoria Square is very convenient, and the outdoor seating area is a nice touch. Overall, a great spot for casual dining with good service, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely visit again!”

  “Extremely helpful and courteous staff together with prompt service made a welcome change from other eating establishments. My partner settled on the Caesar Salad with chicken which she enjoyed while I went for the whole rack of ribs which came well cooked with the meat falling of the bone, a feed that would have choked a donkey!! We can thoroughly recommend eating there, great food, great staff what more could you want.”

  “Went to Frankie and Benny's as walk in's, as it was the Christmas lights switch on it was very busy so we had to wait about 15/20 minutes for a table which was absolutely fine and understandable during such a busy time without a booking. Our server was absolutely fabulous unfortunately I didn't get her name, as she didn't give us our Bill at the end and I couldn't catch her to get her name. She was rushed off her feet and still served with a smile and was great with the wee one as well, making everything sound exciting and fun. So sorry not to catch her name, but if you see this. . Keep it up gal! We were sat next to the kitchen, which wasnt nosey or cramped. However I will say sitting next to the kitchen it's interesting to see how much of the food goes into the microwave, but you don't go to Frankie and Benny's for high quality food. As you can see by the picture I got the (rather small and sad looking) Chicken Parmigiana, very little in flavour. Due to circumstances outwith their control they had no pasta today so I was offered something different with the meal to replace the spaghetti it should have came with. The best part of this dish though was the broccoli in the garlic and herb butter. Very reasonable in price though for what we got, however wouldn't rush back.”

  “Simply awful. It was my mistake agreeing to go to one of these restaurant chains as they always disappoint. To start we had a pram and got seated in an awkward corner having to squeeze by other customers when there were other tables available which we asked for. The table was dirty so we cleaned ourselves with a wet wipe and there were chips on the floor under the table. The portion sizes were on the smaller side. The food was either fine or a let down, for example the over cooked chicken. When we got given our starter we weren't given any cutlery. No staff came near us again. After a long wait trying to get anyone's attention we had to get up and walk towards the kitchen to ask for cutlery. No apology for the oversight or the wait. The only slightly positive thing I can say is that the cost was reasonable enough, but given the experience and the poor food I would never return or recommend it to anyone.”

  “Saturday is very busy, the place is lacking staff.. We waited for table approximately 10 minutes, but then nobody came to take our order for the next 20 minutes. I then asked if it will take long to make food, "no, it will be fast" — another half hour gone! Food they brought was barely warm. This restaurant 2 years ago was much better. But now, it's complete waist of time and money.”
