Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the carbonara, described as rich, creamy and cheesy with great pancetta, and close behind it the truffle mushroom starter and the tiramisu. Others mention garlic prawn bruschetta, lasagne bites, a vegan pizza with hummus to share, and a risotto one husband loved. Reviewers repeatedly praise the decor, the friendly staff and the music, with one saying it was low enough to talk over. The kids' menu is called excellent value. Drinks get praise too, including a zero-alcohol rose garden spritz, though one reviewer found them on the higher price side. The caveats are about booking and dietary detail. One reviewer was told the restaurant was fully booked while the website showed open tables, and a table appeared only after the booking confirmation was shown. Another found confusion over gluten free options, though all pizzas could be made with a gluten free base and only gelato and sorbet suited dessert. One found the nduja dough balls quite greasy but flavorful, served with a spinach pesto.

“Had fantastic dinner on Tuesday evening. We we're bit worried we were too late to find anywhere to eat but the staff were lovely and service prompt. My husband loved the risotto. Restuarant is gorgeous.”

“Quick but friendly service! The carbonara was rich, creamy and cheesy, and the pancetta was great! I also got the rose garden spritz zero cocktail, which was sweet but not overwhelmingly so, bubbly, and flavorful! I enjoyed it a lot. The nduja dough balls were quite greasy, but very flavorful. The dough was thick, and they were topped with melted cheese. Served with what seemed to be spinach pesto, which was very good! I wouldn't call it authentic Italian, but it definitely has its own charm.”

“Had a lovely meal at 3.30pm approx today with my granddaughters. Kids Menu is excellent value. Decor & background music was very authentic, music being a mixture of Italian & French. Because of the time between lunch & dinner, it was quiet so would love to visit in the evening time which I will do on next visit to Belfast to see what the atmosphere is like.”

“Tried a beautiful mix of flavors here and the overall experience was really satisfying. The starters especially stood out with rich flavors and great texture combinations. Desserts ended the meal on a perfect note. Definitely a place worth visiting for Italian food lovers. Our palate enjoyed the following dishes: 🍤 Garlic Prawn Bruschetta: Fresh, flavorful and perfectly balanced with crispy bread and juicy prawns. A very good starter to begin the meal. 🍄‍🟫 Truffle Mushroom: Absolutely the star of the table. Rich truffle aroma, creamy texture and deep mushroom flavor made this dish unforgettable. Highly recommended. 🧆 Lasagne Bites: Crispy outside, soft and cheesy inside. Full of flavor and perfectly mouth melting. 🍕Pollo Carne Pizza: Loaded with toppings, good balance of meat and cheese, and a nicely baked crust. Very satisfying in taste. 🍰Tiramisu: Soft, creamy and perfectly balanced sweetness with coffee flavor. A classic dessert done really well. Mru’s Rating: 9.5/10 ⭐ Strongly recommended for their truffle mushroom and tiramisu especially.”
