  “Wait staff/servers were so pleasant and professional, also friendly. We were attented to very well, very politely too. Our orders were taken quickly and accurately. We could not believe how fast the drinks were brought to our table, and also we were hardly waiting at all, before the food was served. We had the bacon, cheese, tomatoe relish, lettuce, red onion steak mince burger w/parmesan & garlic skinny chips. Other dish was roast loin of pork in a Sunday roast style; roast potatoes, meaty delicious gravy, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, boiled broccoli, soft, eggy lovely yorkshire pudding & apple sauce. The dessert was tasty too, mixed berry cheesecake with vanilla icecream and some fresh strawberries. Really enjoyed the ambience, decor and lighting of the restaurant too. The price was very reasonable and the menu selection/variation was also great. We would definitely go back due to all the positive and enjoyable things we experienced.”

  “Food was very nice, with large portions. I ordered the cheeseburger with skinny fries and the burger was one of the best I've had in a while! There are around 4 friendly staff members who were quick to help out, we were apologised to twice for the wait even though we weren't waiting very long, it was still nice. Only issue is the atmosphere, we were there at what looked like one of the busiest times but it was consistently very loud. My best suggestion would be partitions between seating! Also, we noticed that the menu on their website was out of date and we asked them about the differences and they said the menu only changed 2 days ago. Overall, all of us really enjoyed our meals and will likely be back soon!”

  “Had a delicious lunch and afternoon having a few pints this week. Outside area was gorgeous in the rare sunshine and there was plenty of space inside despite being quite busy. My friend and I opted for the 3 small plates each and at £18 that was good value for plenty of tasty food. The prawn and salmon cocktail was outstanding! My only minor gripe is that some of my pints of Guinness weren’t great, with some arriving a little too quickly…but that’s not enough to put me off and I’ll definitely be back soon.”

  “What a beautiful find in Ballyhackmore on the Newtownards Road. Aside from a beautiful outdoor space with spring daffodils blooming outside on the patio, the indoors was lively crowded but not too crowded with young old and everything in between. The service was absolutely fantastic, the people inside polite and joyful. I really enjoyed the all ages feel of the crowd...a real public house experience. The building is newish but it's also got an oldish feel to it. Also, may I say that the mojitos were to die for. I absolutely love the fresh mint and blood orange garnish along with the icy Cuban rum. I will definitely be going back here for more merriment and fellowship. Highly recommend for dates or family or even a single outing. We did not eat this time but next time I expect to try the food.”

  “Delish and fresh food made in-house which you can always tell as it makes such a difference to your experience! It was difficult to choose off the menu as each dish sounded so good. Staff were run off their feet on a busy Saturday afternoon but were good regardless of this! Had to flag them down once or twice though that’s to be expected due to the customer to FOH ratio - better than being over-attentive in my option. We luckily managed to book same day about an hour before dining, and they gave my partner a nice treat for his birthday ☺️”

  “Excellent cider, food was wonderful, friendly service. We had the roast, which we shared because it was a very generous portion. We also indulged in dessert, hot fudge brownie sundae. All excellent.”

  “Lovely creative interior design in the large Dining room at the rear of the Restaurant. The front of the building... the main bar with comfortable seating areas to relax with friends for a drink, a light meal. Good choice on their menu, lovely food, beautifully presented, served by nice friendly staff... highly recommend 👏”
