  “Microwave food, ordered food picked up our order after 15 minutes, food was cold and stale, curry sauce was a lump stuck to the container. Made our food ‘fresh’ for the 2nd time however in less than 5 minuets, food still cold. Wont be ordering from here again.”

  “I had a king prawn curry, something I always order from various takeaways. This was the worst! The sauce was runny, tasteless and full of onions with very few king prawns. The fried rice was white with bits of egg stirred in, so it wasn’t fried. I won’t order from them again.”

  “Been a customer for 10 years or more. Best Chinese around have been made sick from other place thought I would never eat fried rice again. Never been disappointed food always great and piping hot. Recommend highly .”

  “Updated 6/2/22 Ordered a takeaway from their website. Delivered a little early, food was lovely (we had a variety of dishes between 3 of us). Will most definitely be our first choice, especially as it was cheaper than the places we'd normally choose. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would 🌟 ... I used to visit regularly when I lived round the corner but that was 20 years ago! Popped in for a snack on my way home one night recently to find it was still as lovely as ever. I think they have had a bit of a decor/staff change since then! We only had chips but they were nice, and a decent amount compared to similar places. It's very clean. Will definitely use again and won't wait another 20 years this time 😂”

  “Absolutely awful food! Was ordered for a birthday, after having a new baby and thought we would treat ourselves. Food arrived on time however, was bland and had a consistency of water. When we called china star they only explained it was due to the fact they prepare the food in the morning!!!! Well the dog had the food and china star had my money for slop.”

  “Ordered food for delivery. Told it would be 40 minutes. Had to ring up after an hour and ten minutes to see where the order was. When it turned up it was the consistency of dishwater and didn't taste much better and was genuinely inedible!! …”
