Customer Review Summary
Most positive reviewers come for food that arrives piping hot and quickly, with sweet and sour chicken and beef curry singled out as delicious and the big portions described as reasonably priced. Several also mention polite delivery drivers and friendly staff on the phone. Close behind is a run of complaints, often from customers of many years who describe a decline over recent months. Reviewers say the special fried rice and egg fried rice came as plain rice with the meat and veg in a separate dish, and one found it reheated. The duck with mushrooms was reported as mostly fat with a watery sauce, and a veggie chow mein was greasy with a single mushroom and warmed-up chips. One reviewer says they were sick twice after a meal, and another cites a low hygiene rating as the reason they stopped ordering. Another notes the yuk sung no longer comes with vermicelli, and the owner was rude and blunt when asked, while the lettuce dropped from five leaves to three.

“Without a doubt the best takeaway locally. Consistently great service. The food is delicious, delivered hot and promptly and very reasonably priced for the big portions you get. I highly recommend.”

“Delivery was fast and driver was very polite. The food wasn’t bad but also was not great. Sauces didn’t taste the best and not a lot of meat in each dish. The special fried rice for example was container of plain rice, with a dish of meat and veg on the side.”

“Ive been ordering from here for around 4 years, has been consistently the best Chinese Takeaway in the area. Nice man on the phone always says ill try to get it to you as quick as I can and it always arrives steaming hot in 15/20 minutes. Delivery drivers are always polite and the look and presentation of the foot is excellent. Thank you.”
