About Royal Dragon Restaurant
Royal Dragon Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant in Nuneaton, at 9 Horeston Grange Shopping Centre. The kitchen cooks traditional Cantonese dishes, and the duck is shredded table side, so the carving happens in front of the diners. Dumplings and spring rolls sit among the starters. The dining room has plenty of tables. Set meals for four are offered, which gives a party of that size a fixed menu to order from.

Customer Review Summary
Service draws the most praise, with reviewers describing quick, friendly, attentive staff who always had a smile. On the food, the duck shredded table side is singled out as impressive, while others name the dumplings, spring rolls and crispy spicy beef as good, though one felt the rice could have been stickier. Opinion on the cooking is split, as two reviewers were harshly negative, one citing awful flavour and calling it the worst Chinese in a year. Price is the most repeated complaint. Several call it expensive, and one says a family dinner with no alcohol cost far too much even though the food wasn't bad. A takeaway customer reports a piece of metal in a chow mein, along with flavourless satay sauce and starchy chips. One reviewer says reservations are strongly recommended on busy days. Another, who found the food hot and nicely presented, was told an advertised Tuesday and Wednesday deal had ended months earlier.

“We decided to try this restaurant and checked the menu online beforehand. There was a special deal advertised for Tuesday and Wednesday nights for £18 but on enquiring we were told it finished months ago and was no longer available. The food was very nice and it was all very nicely presented and served hot. We thought it was on the expensive side though and would only return for a special occasion n the future.”

“Extremely quick service and friendly staff. The crispy spicy beef was good but the rice could have been stickier. Had to ask for chopsticks (maybe they don't use them in Nuneaton) which I found strange”
