Customer Review Summary
Chicken balls are the most frequently praised item, described as a good size with a perfect ratio of chicken to batter, and served with chips that reviewers call nicely cooked. Close behind come the sweet and sour sauce, big spring rolls with a crunch, prawn toasts, and a beef and mushroom curry with chunky mushrooms. One reviewer also likes the chicken and vegetables for their variety of veg. A few mention friendly people at the till, and food arriving piping hot. The complaints centre on consistency. One delivery order brought dry, fatty noodles that tasted reheated, another reviewer found the wontons small and the egg fried rice without any egg, and a long-time customer says the last few orders were good in portion but less tasty. One reviewer found the curry sauce portion tiny. When one delivered order came out wrong, the restaurant apologised and sent a whole replacement meal with a bag of prawn crackers.

“Great food and amazing customer service! Have ordered through their website and collected it on Sunday, the person serving us was super nice and kind and smiling all the time! Loved it. The food was amazing too, everything was piping hot and the prawn toasts were the best I've had yet 👌🏻”

“Absolutely disgusting. I had an inkling I WASN'T in for a treat when the food order came out about 4 minutes after ordering! Still, I thought I'd give it a try as I was nearby & hungry. I will not be purchasing not even a tinned drink from this so called authentic vendor. As u can witness from the 16 quid or so I spent here is the proof of a pathetic excuse for chicken. The toilet was absolutely trashed the next day with what looked very similar to what is pictured.”

“We try other Chinese take outs, but always come back to China garden, their sweet and sour sauce is lovely. The chicken and vegetables are very tasty with lots of different veg, which is great when your trying to loose weight but want a little treat. Beef and mushroom curry is nice with big chunky mushrooms, and the 2 x big spring rolls are tasty with a nice crunch, enjoy ☺️”
