About Bath Brew House
Bath Brew House is a pub on James St W in Bath that brews its own beer on the premises. The microbrewery runs a brewery tour and tasting, and its beers include Gladiator bitter and Stout Dues. Local cider is on offer too. The kitchen serves burgers and chips alongside other pub food. Football and other sport, including England matches, play on multiple screens across a large industrial interior that spans two floors. Cubby-style booths for watching sports and games can be reserved. Live music is held weekly, and the pub is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the beer brewed on the premises, naming the Gladiator bitter twice, along with the Peach Pale, the Pultney Pilsner and Stout Dues. One brewery tour visitor adds that the local cider took them by surprise. Close behind is the sport. Football plays on multiple televisions, and one reviewer describes a packed England match that still felt busy, buzzing and well organised, with good screens and sound. Others mention the huge industrial interior over two floors, a beer garden deck and a new smoking area described as a quiet space away from the crowds. Food gets lighter coverage. Chips and fries are called lovely and a chicken caesar salad delightful, though one diner found the veggie burger okay but wanting some salad, and another noted the outside area was under renovation. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and knowledgeable, and one reviewer says they were helpful and conscientious about a companion's food allergies.

“We had drinks and chips that were lovely but didn't test the menu proper. Football on multiple televisions placed throughout. Noticed that you can reserve cubby-style 'booths' that appear to allow you to swap between multiple sports/games. Staff were incredibly helpful and conscientious as one of our party has food allergies. We only popped in for a break whilst exploring and would definitely go again. Was an excellent find. Thank you Bath Brew House!”

“Went for the brewery tour and had a lovely visit. Staff are very knowledgeable and welcome questions. It’s great to see the independent brewery doing well. We sampled a lot of the beer. My favourite were Gladiator and the Pultney Pilnser. Special mention to the Stout Dues. And the local cider took me totally by surprise. Highly recommend the tour, tasting and stopping by for a pint or 3:)”

“Great selection of beers, drinks specials. Typical pub food, mainly burgers but managed a delightful chicken caesar salad. Partner had a vege buger which was okay but could have had some salad. Various eating areas including a beer garden deck. In Bath, so absolutely no parking nearby but a flat short walk from Hamptons by Hilton hotel. Service was good, friendly and helpful.”

“I came in after work, tired and in need of a drink! Ended up staying for few- the new smoking area is lovely and the perfect quiet space away from the crowds! I was served by different bartenders for each drink, all of them were friendly, relatable, and clearly knowledgeable on stock and recommendations (as an ex cocktail bartender I recognise and respect that loads!) Meg, Luke, Alex, Tom- all amazing at their jobs, and are the main reason I'll be returning to Bath Brewhouse! (Especially as the food and menu looks delicious too, so will have to come back to sample with friends)”
