About Centivo Lounge
Centivo Lounge is a restaurant at 62-64 Market St in Ashby De La Zouch, set in an old bank building. Board games and toys for little ones are on hand, and dogs are welcome, with refreshments for them too. The kitchen serves breakfast and brunch, and the vegetarian options include a cauliflower noodle dish. A separate gluten free menu and a vegan menu sit alongside the main one, and food comes out with a small flag on it to mark allergies. The drinks list includes alcohol free cocktails. Guests can scan the QR code at the table to order and pay, or go up to the bar.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the welcome and the gluten free handling, describing a separate gluten free menu, marked items and food that arrives with a little flag on it. Close behind is the food itself, with large portions, a cauliflower noodle dish, a banana cheesecake and alcohol free cocktails that taste just the same. Diners also praise the decor in the old bank building, friendly staff and a laid back Sunday lunchtime atmosphere, and several like ordering by QR code at the table or at the bar, which they call quick. The complaints are about the kitchen. One reviewer received a burger that was burnt, with a bun that was literally black, and another got what they described as a child's portion. One notes the food was a bit slow to arrive, and another says the acoustics make it quite loud. Breakfast and brunch visitors still left pleased, and one praised the coffee.

“I’m a huge fan of the lounges across England. They are always incredibly welcoming and know a lot about celiac disease and what needs to be done so we are all safe. They have gluten free items marked on their menus, and they have a full separate gluten free menu as well. The staff here is super nice, the manager takes your order to be sure you are properly taken care of. This is for all allergies and autoimmune diseases, food intolerances. They take it incredibly seriously. Plus ontop of all of that, the food is amazing too! And your food comes out with a little flag on it 😊 I’m a BIG fan!”

“Lovely atmosphere on a Sunday lunchtime, very laid back with just a hint of background music and people chatting. Food was delicious as was the coffee and service was excellent. Fully recommended.”

“Avoid. The burger was burnt and the bun was literally black. I honestly don’t understand how something like this can leave the kitchen without anyone noticing it before serving it to a customer. Very disappointing quality and definitely not what you expect when eating out.”

“Character establishment, pleasant staff, food a bit slow to arrive but we were in no rush. Overall enjoyed our brunch and would recommend.”
