  “Overpriced for what you get. Too much emphasis on the free salad with every meal. I had chicken skewers and rice. The rice tasted like microwavable rice and wasn't pleasant, like it had been reheated. My chicken was overcooked and was far too dry. Sadly, we probably won't return as this is the 3rd time we haven't had a great meal. Service was slow and it wasn't particularly busy. It took over 20 minutes for somebody to take our food order.”

  “Poor service due to overworked staff, waiting at door for 10 minutes to be seated, waited over 30 minutes for food, the mix grill was horrendous, it was a grease feast. The steak was tougher than my ex wife,, the black pudding was flavourless, I’m not going to mention the mushroom, the chicken was ok and the gammon was ok but so small, value for money, not at all, the right price would be £14 quid and a health warning… and the load of a defibrillator…”

  “Overall we enjoyed our lunch at Harvester. The staff were friendly and the salad bar is an excellent part of the dining experience. Our food was nice but we felt lacked flavour and seasoning.”

  “Excellent service highly recommend. Staff were pleasant and very accommodating. Helped with all requests takeaway boxes and refills of onion flakes in the salad bar all with no fuss whatsoever. Thanks”

  “Atmosphere quiet as chilling outside, food cant tell as we told our food is " on screen" whatever that means for 20 mins, my food has been ordered 19:35 and my friends 19:30. Which already is nearly 45 mins and we told we need as our meal is 2nd in queue, whatever that means time wise. Food was good”

  “Evening totally spoilt by a really cold room. Seated by the door the manager wouldn’t let the staff move anyone even though a warmer place was available and I said I was cold when we went In. Offerred a heater by one helpful server but none arrived. Granted a busy night. Complained to the manager who couldn’t care less. She said the radiators weren’t on as they were on a timer and they had no control over them. The two adjacent tables to us all sat with their coats on. We arrived at 5.30. Pity the people who followed us. Definately a miss in the winter.”

  “Had a relaxing evening meal at the Harvester. The food arrived quickly, was lovely and well flavoured. I particularly enjoyed the unlimited salad with a main. There were a few items out of stock, but our server Kurtis was attentive and especially helpful when taking our order.”

  “Back in the ode harvester tonight, the loughborough branch. Booked a table and on arrival the place was absolutely rammed, just about got the last spot in the car park and was shown to our table. Looks like a group of artists meet up here as there were a number of folk painting in the top section of the gaff. Went with the unlimited refill to drink and fish and chips for main. As the place was so busy the ode salad bar had taken abit of a battering and we had to ask for onion and bacon bits as the pots were empty and there were no plates for the bread rolls. The waitress then came and said they had run outta fish so i had to settle with the ode gammon and wondered how long extra i would be waiting, but to my astonishment it got whipped out with the other meals we had and as a good will gesture the waitress gave me my meal for FOC free of charge as there was obvoiusly some kind of fishy situation with my 1st choice! Ended up paying part cash, part card and used my discount voucher to take a further £10.50 off the bill. Before leaving i went to drop the kids off and whoever had been in before all i can say is my god the ode toilet bowl looked like a volcano had exploded 💩 I had to hover like a helicopter 🚁 Decent bit of fodder though, you cant beat abit of harvester baby 👍”
