  “We had a wonderful breakfast at Copper Pot with my husband, our daughter, and our dog, and it was an experience we won’t forget. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was warm, cosy, and relaxed, making it the perfect place to start the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and even gave our dog a warm welcome, which meant a lot to us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious – fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every ingredient tasted high quality, and the coffee was excellent too. It’s clear that a lot of care and passion goes into both the food and the service. Copper Pot is a true gem in Ambleside, and we can completely understand why it’s so highly recommended. We left with full stomachs and big smiles. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the Lake District. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an outstanding breakfast and exceptional hospitality!”

The food was beautifully presented, generous in portion size and, most importantly, absolutely delicious. The burger was one of the best I’ve had – juicy, perfectly cooked and served with crispy, chunky chips. The creamy mushroom dish was equally impressive, rich in flavour and cooked to perfection. Every plate looked amazing and tasted even better. The location and views made the experience even more special. Sitting outside, enjoying great food while looking across the lake and mountains, was simply unforgettable. Friendly, welcoming staff, excellent service, great atmosphere and outstanding food. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. 5 stars well deserved!”

  “Food was delicious and so filling, service was friendly and atmosphere relaxing and charming. We got there at the right time as soon after, there were queues at the door - shows how good it is if people are willing to wait! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back when I’m in the area again.”

  “We were so hungry by the time we got to copper Pot so got ourselves a burger and chips which was yum (particularly the chips, was well seasoned) also tried a new iced tea which was refreshing for a hike !”

  “Eaten out lots around the Lake District and this is some of the best lunch food we've had! We had Chicken bacon syrup waffles, and chilli nachos. My photos don't do the food justice. Friendly service. Impressed how they accommodated the small children on a nearby table- offering to make them any dish they wanted from items on the menu.”

  “What a little Gem!!! Stopped her for some breakfast on the way home from camping and so glad we did, the food was delicious, all fresh, all free range. We also had to take one of their delicious cakes for the road, it would have been rude not to. Staff were very friendly, service amazingly quick, and they had Yorkshire Tea which makes them eligible for a Michelin star in my eyes lol Prices were very good as well, didn’t break the bank. Very cool decor, with cartoons projected on the wall as you ate. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back on my next visit.”
