About Cafe Altitude
Cafe Altitude is a third-floor cafe at 101 Lake Rd in Ambleside, in the same building as Adventure Peaks and the Ambleside climbing wall. The room looks over Ambleside and Loughrigg Fell, which gives climbers and walkers a place to stop for coffee, tea and cake once they come down. The kitchen makes its own cakes, bread and soup, and the toast arrives with homemade jams and marmalade. For a bigger meal, the menu includes an English breakfast and shakshuka. Dogs are welcome.
