  “Had prior reservations months ahead done. Looking for a different experience, this is the place to go. Located in between greens, walking to it was beautiful. Food - Wonderful list on the menu to choose from. Each dish had ample portions. Fresh, warm and presentation just perfect. Deco and ambience just beautiful. Can't imagine how amazing it will look at Christmas. One downside - table we were given was sticky. Unsure if it was not cleaned properly or the cleaning product just leaves such a feeling. Was given a second table - grateful for this. However one side of it was still sticky. On the whole - definitely worth a visit when in the area.”

  “The perfect place to unwind and recharge for the week ahead! The Treehouse Restaurant is an absolute fairytale setting – it’s hard to believe it’s one of the largest treehouses in the world until you step inside and see the stunning woodwork and magical fairy lights. ​We came for the Sunday Roast, and it was pure comfort food. I had the beef, which was incredibly succulent, and my husband had the lamb – both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The giant Yorkshire puddings and crispy roast potatoes made it even better. ​Great food, unique atmosphere, and excellent service. The ultimate weekend reset! Highly recommend. 🌳🍽️✨”

  “This place is incredible from the outside to the inside. Design wise it's unique, so many lovely detail and touches, you can't help but fall for this charms They had some great menu choices, I went with the chicken, honey, mustard pie which was incredible. Plenty of other nice options for all tastes and preferences We did spend 5-10 minutes for someone to seat us but the service picked up from there. Who wouldn't want to visit a place like this, it's something out of Harry Potter! I'll be back in the near future :)”

  “Wish i had better news.....Saldy we were expecting good...all we got was terrible experience .on arrival we had to wait 15 mins ...before being seated and the table was for 10 and they only had it set for 8 So we had to wait for them to sort that and jsut put 2 squished on the ends terrible.. Then we ordered our drinks...after we had to go find a waitress ...yes 35 mins we waited for drinks and our waitress was no where to been seen.. Once we got that sorted we ordered our food... Should say re ordered as we had already pre booked etc as 10 of us.. So that was not good..as they were sure what food etc . 3 WHAT HAPPEND TO OUR FOOD 30 MINS wait for starters....OMG soup was horrendous unedable Along with lots of other finding food horrible cold un cooked and we sent several back... MAIN Meals again a long wait... again HORRIBLE scallops arrived raw unedable ..other diahed did even arrive wrong Meals were given to us as well.. simple disaster so again some of us ended up with just CHIPS to eat... What a shambles disgracefull all round.. We wanted some more drinks had to go and find a waitress agin..and again terrible did care about us at all... Like we were out of sight out of mind yet we were a table of 10 ladies... service we had to keep chasing the staff to get 2 of us could eat our food it was disgusting unedable 4 of us had burnt food had to send it back...some even get there food for 1 hour even though we had pr ordered .. Totally horrible place worst in Northumberland We can not recommend at all... Sadly the service staff and food is simple not up to any standard...better of anywhere else but here... Sorry but dont want to say this but its TRUE 10 of us experienced this place won't ever go back.”

  “We pre booked and I would say this is a must. We went 10 mins before are booked time and was seatsd straight away. Venue was clean and tidy and offered water straight away which was great as was a hot day. We had food from the child menu and the main menu. We had Sunday lunch which ranges between £18 - £20 depending on the meat selection. The child menu is £10 for a 2 course and a drink which is great offer. We did have to wait abit to order for unknown reason and then same again later had to wait a while just to get a desert menu. It wasn't really busy and plenty staff around. The food tho was really nice and had great portions of meat on the plate so really worth the money along with the big Yorkshire pudding. For 2 adult Sunday lunches, 1 child Sunday lunch, 1 child menu meal, 2 pint cokes and 1x desert came to £73.”

  “Visited The Treehouse Restaurant for lunch during the week around midday and the atmosphere is easily the standout feature. The restaurant itself is really unique and cosy, with a large fire in the middle that gives the whole place a warm, relaxed feel. Definitely more memorable than your average restaurant setting. Service was quick when we visited (outside of school holidays), and portion sizes across the group were very generous. I had the Treehouse double smash beef burger which was decent, but if I’m honest the food didn’t quite live up to the impressive location. Presentation was fairly basic with the chips just placed next to the burger, and while it tasted nice enough, it wasn’t particularly memorable. The sticky toffee pudding afterwards was excellent though and probably the highlight food-wise. Prices are average to slightly on the expensive side, but you’re partly paying for the experience and setting. Worth visiting for the atmosphere alone, especially if you’re already visiting Alnwick Gardens or the castle.”

  “After visiting the castle, we noticed this wooden structure in the trees. What a unique place to eat and meet! The walk along the wooden walkway leads you to the Treehouse, which just looks stunning! Inside is quirky, beautifully lit, had a real fire and a really warm welcome. The food is not only good, but well price, bit and very tasty. Highly recommend and it's a good idea to book, just in case. Lovely place. Thank you.”

  “What a great place most unique. We had haggis and ravioli starters quite nice and risotto and roast pork for mains very tasty. Still managed to leave room for dessert gelato and brownie and sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb ice cream very nice. Over all a great mean in nice setting. When the bill came I thought something was missing as was a lot cheaper than I was expecting for what you get and standard and setting. Would totally go again”

  “We stopped in Alnwick for lunch, and what a wonderful surprise! We had haggis won tons, beef and stilton pie (the pie of the day) and a sticky toffee pudding - all with a glass of pinot noir. What a delicious meal! I dare to say this was the best pie I had! The staff was also very nice and welcoming. Cameron was extremely helpful and made an effort to find us a table since we haven't booked and made sure we had the best experience.”
