  “A lunchtime Gem!! Busy in the evenings but for a late lunch we were able to get a table for 12 at short notice! The flat iron steak was excellent, the batter on the fish and chips has a chunky crispy crunch that’s hard to beat! Also a kids menu that did a fine job. Staff were v patient with all extra requests and fuss no bother. Fabulous well done everyone!”

  “We had a mixed experience at Adam and Eve when visiting Alnwick. The food was excellent, especially the blue cheese beignets, but the service was very disappointing. We were sat at a high table by the bar and felt forgotten about for the majority of the evening. After waiting 10-15 minutes to order drinks, we never had an opportunity to have desserts despite being given a menu. The manager was working the bar next to us while we waited but didn’t give us a second glance as he took drinks orders, then was on a phone call until we left. The other waitress didn’t think to ask either, and the majority of kitchen staff were starting to finish their shift and have a drink, despite it being just after 9pm on a Saturday night. We’re sure the desserts would have been excellent, as we thoroughly enjoyed our starters and mains, but I guess we will never know.”

  “We had a fantastic meal tonight at Adam and Eve, our server Elliot was amazing. All the staff created a welcoming atmosphere and wonderful dining experience. If you are visiting Alnwick, then I'd definitely recommend a trip to Adam and Eve.”

  “Particularly friendly, helpful service and very good food. Personally I’d prefer not to have dogs in a restaurant although they caused no bother, hence 4 for atmosphere”

  “Marvelous atmosphere, and nicely presented food. Found our ribeye steak a little tough, but otherwise we loved the staff. We especially appreciated that this was a dog friendly establishment. Well, we did not have dogs, I love seeing them sitting on opposite sides of the room.”
