Customer Review Summary
Diners consistently single out the steaks as the highlight, with the ribeye, porterhouse, and bone in steak repeatedly praised for quality, char, and perfect doneness. The burger also earns strong praise as flavorful and juicy, and several reviewers call out the truffle fries and mashed potatoes as standout sides. Service is frequently described as warm and attentive, with multiple mentions of staff going above and beyond for birthdays, including complimentary desserts, cake, and postcards. The tuna tartare on crispy rice, bao, and beef dumplings come up as popular starters, and the wagyu filet and wagyu bolognese receive high marks. A recurring note is that the meal is expensive, and a few reviewers point to specific letdowns: one found the carrot cake surprisingly dry, another says the fried chicken is forgettable, and a couple of lower rated reviews call out tough or underwhelming meat and cocktails that did not justify the price. One reviewer suggests ordering two bone marrow servings because one is not enough.

“The food is delicious, the staff is charming, and I loved every dish; they have everything the kids could want—sushi, meat, and chimichurri. Thank you for a beautiful night.”

“I went here last year for my husband’s birthday, and we still talk about this restaurant often. It is by far our favorite restaurant in NYC. From the cocktails to the appetizers to the sides, everything was outstanding. I highly recommend ordering two bone marrow servings because one definitely won’t be enough. We also had the porterhouse steak, and the quality of the meat was incredible. The truffle fries and mashed potatoes were just as delicious. The only item I wouldn’t recommend is the fried chicken, it wasn’t bad, just nothing particularly memorable, so I’d skip it next time. Definitely get the burger instead it was so flavorful and juicy. What really made the evening special was the service. The staff went above and beyond to celebrate my husband’s birthday, including a complimentary dessert and postcards, which was such a thoughtful touch. Dinner is definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it. We’ll definitely be back.”

“The food, the platters, the setting, the service, even the bathroom, everything was amazing! We ordered the bao, the beef dumplings, the burger, the steak and egg, the beef sausage, and toast. The bao was served under smoke, which was …”

“It's a bit pricy, especially if you don't go for the Angus steak options, but all the dishes were really tasty and well executed. The 20oz ribeye steak was perfect to share between 2 people along with a couple of other dishes we wanted to …”

“Cute place but food is not it. Bao buns tasted good but nothing extraordinary. We ordered the Beef Wellington and Filet mignon and didn’t like either (preparation, cooking, seasoning), the only thing we liked were the fries. I would go back just for the drinks but not dinner.”
