“We ordered 2x duck fried rice meals and a jug of tap water. Total came to 32 pounds and cash payment was preferred. The meal was very tasty but not too hot (seemed to have been heated in a microwave). We struggled a bit with getting the meat off the bones but I think you can order a boneless option. But when I looked at the prices on the shop window when leaving I realised the duck meal is priced at 13.50 so a bit unsure what extras were added to our bill.”

“The best roast duck I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was absolutely bursting with flavour. The staff were lovely and helped answer some questions we had about the menu. Highly recommended for anyone visiting York. Try the stuffed tofu!”

“Had the mixed 3 meat rice with siew yuk, charsiu and duck. All three meats were cooked really well and the chilli oil paste paired so nicely with everything. It is a bit pricey, but the portions are huge and honestly enough to share between two people. Service was a little slow, but for me the food definitely made up for it.”

“An absolute must-visit in York. The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We didn’t have much time before our train, but we knew we had to stop here, and the team were incredibly accommodating, helping us decide what to order without making us feel rushed. And wow, I’ve genuinely never had duck like it. We started with the pancakes, which were amazing, alongside some perfectly crispy, delicious gyoza. Then came the duck with fried rice, and I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about it since. I’ll absolutely be back and would highly recommend this place whether you’re visiting York or lucky enough to live there.”
