Customer Review Summary
Fried rice is the dish reviewers return to most, described as well seasoned and flavourful rather than salty, with a prawn version called very nice. Close behind are crispy spring rolls, prawn skewers in a peanut sauce, a tender beef curry from a set menu for two, and sweetcorn soup. Chicken in lemon and satay gravies drew a mild note that the sauces ran sweeter than expected, and chicken skewers arrived as a gravy dish rather than the dry one a diner anticipated. Chow mein splits opinion. One reviewer praises its tender chicken, while two others describe it harshly: duck and char siu versions swimming in oil with fatty meat and watery mushrooms, and a chicken version that was cold, soggy and oversalted. One of them reports feeling ill afterward. A coeliac diner says they were glad to find a meal here. Staff are called lovely and friendly, including the woman who takes orders by phone, and two reviewers say their delivery arrived piping hot.

“Ordered from here after my usual Chinese is closed on Monday’s. Best decision by far! Food was great. Ordered the meal for two set menu. Everhthing was spot on. Inside was clean and so was the kitchen. The Beef curry was tender and succulent. Fried rice was well seasoned and noodles were nice too. Couldn’t fault a thing. Will definitely be coming back. Good value for money and best quality taste.”

“Have been twice and both times have enjoyed the food and found the staff lovely.”

“Where to start.... got salt and pepper chips (£4), these had no seasoning on them and some onion and chilis dumped in the middle of the box. Then, duck chow mein and char siu chow mein. Both were insanely oily, like swimming in oil. Both meets (duck and pork) were fatty beyond belief, more fat than meat. With the char siu, it came with mushrooms which must have been tinned in water as all they tasted like was water, and it make the dish even more liquidity, just mushroom juice and oil mixed. The food was also bland and presented poorly. The meat was dumped ontop of the noodles and you had to mix it all around, it looked so gross. Ultimately, me and my partner couldn't finish our meals, it was so bland and oily. We had a good laugh at least, but we've both been left feeling rather ill... we've said our goodbyes to each other 🙏 On the bright side, the lady who took our order over the phone was lovely, and the delivery time was short! Yay 😍”

“The food is so delicious, every single ingredient in the chow mein is cooked to a very high standard and is extremely flavourful. I especially love how tender and tasty the chicken is. I will definitely be coming again to try other dishes, thank you very much!”
