Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the munch box, which several single out as a brilliant deal, with generous portions that arrive tasty and hot. Regulars also praise the quality and fair price, and one calls the welcome at the counter friendly and helpful. Chips get a nod too, even from a diner unhappy with the duck. Delivery is the recurring strain. One reviewer waited well past the quoted hour on a Saturday night and says a rude phone response followed when they chased it, while another found the telephone receptionist abrupt and hard to understand, and a third says two staff ignored them when they popped in to collect. Food complaints are sharper. One diner describes chow mein swimming in oil and overcooked salt and pepper king prawns, another found the chicken balls full of fat, and a third says the duck was mushy with a lot of fat and skin and no lettuce or spring onions. One regular who has ordered for years says delivery can take a while and suggests ordering well in advance.

“In 37 years I have never had such a disgusting Chinese. Never ordered from here before but did last night. I am not even joking when I say the chow mein was swimming in oil and the salt and pepper king prawns were vile over cooked and nothing like salt and pepper king prawns... I wouldn't of served any of the food that we received. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!”

“The bad reviews always surprise me. I’ve gone here for years, recently moved a bit out of Worcester but they were happy to deliver tonight. Definitely would say order well in advance as delivery can take a while, however it’s always worth it when it arrives. Food is delicious & flavourful every time. Best Chinese in Worcester for me.”

“I ordered over the phone at 6:30pm and I was told it would be an hour, okay it’s a Saturday night they are busy… 1 1/2 hours goes by and I phone up to see where the food is to be told it’s going to be another 25-30mins I then said that’s not good enough then to have an extremely rude lady say to me (well what do you want me to do we are busy.. if you don’t want it cancel it) 🤷♂️ now there’s service for you they don’t deserve anyone's custom.”

“Popped in on the way home, got ignored by two members of staff. One walked straight past me taking a box out to the delivery drivers. Like most places now customer service sucks and they just want to do deliveries. Even though they would make more money on collections. Another customer they have lost.”
