About Meat & Eat

On Worcester St in Wolverhampton, Meat & Eat is a steak house with a menu built around sharing trays. The brisket tray comes with smoked brisket and is sized for groups, with a tray for four among the options, so a table can order one dish and split it. The Palestine fries come in three formats, as fries, as a tray and as a box, which lets a single order scale from one person to a few. Orders can also include a side of pepperoni sauce.

Customer Review Summary

Brisket tray is the dish reviewers mention most, described as soft, tender and properly smoky, with one diner calling it a melt in the mouth experience. The Palestine tray, box and fries come close behind. One reviewer calls the box great value and tasty, and another plans to try the tray next. Others praise the chop wings, crispy outside and juicy inside, a creamy pasta, and a burger tray so generous one diner could not finish it. Service draws repeated warmth, with staff described as friendly, attentive and helpful, and one diner notes food came out fresh and hot even when the place was busy. The complaints are small and rare. One reviewer found the loaded fries with minced chicken the weak point and would have preferred just cheese and sauce, and another says the boys serving could use a few lessons. Several say they would return, and one family reports their children devoured the brisket mac n cheese.

“First time i tried this restaurant and the food was good apart from loaded fries with minced chicken. Just loaded fries with cheese and sauce would have been better otherwise the rest of the food was very good.”

“I had a meal with my partner and the food was of very good quality and the staff were professional and we felt welcome, I'm yet to view their YouTube channel, I wanted to give my honest opinion of my experience and I can't fault anything. The Menu wasn't what I expected but it worked well and I would recommend if anyone wants a genuine good meal with a good environment and nice staff then this is a good place to go. We will be going back soon. Thank you to the staff and keep up the good work. For the dishes I recommend I'm only going off the food we had and it was great so I don't doubt anything on the menu. Thank you.”
