Quick info
About Moseley Park Beefeater
Moseley Park Beefeater is a British steak house and pub on Business Park in Wolverhampton, set among tall, overgrown trees that screen the building from view near the M54. The menu centres on grilled steak cuts and grill classics, with breakfast service alongside pub standards, and the bar stocks bottled beer only, with no draught on site. A private dining room at the back hosts larger tables for groups, and the team uses a braille menu for visually impaired guests. Service runs as a walk-in format through the day, and the room takes families as well as sit-down diners. The site is planned to close in September as the operator rebrands the property.

“Really disappointing experience at Beefeater Wolverhampton. We arrived and were told there were no tables available, despite the restaurant visibly having plenty of empty tables at the time. There was no real explanation and we were simply turned away. I can’t say for certain why, but the way we were spoken to and dismissed left us feeling as though we were being judged based on how we looked, which was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. If the tables were genuinely unavailable due to bookings or staffing, that could have easily been explained to us. Instead, we were made to feel unwelcome and left wondering why we had been refused. Definitely not the level of customer service I would expect from a national restaurant chain.”

“We are regulars here, at least once a month, staying in the Premier inn. To be fair for a beefeater it is actually worth eating there. Friendly staff food cooked properly. It will be a shame when Whitbread shut them down. They couldn't brew beer but can cook food. I know let's shut the best bit of the business.”

“IMPORTANT. Aug '26. Like a lot of Whitbread pubs, this place is closing in September due to change of ownership/rebranding. It needs money spending on it, especially the surrounding trees which completely screen it from view. It should be a lot busier, being close to the M54, but nobody can see it!!! We've popped in occasionally over the years, but it's gradually been getting worse value-for-money wise. We don't know the situation with the Premier Inn Hotel on the same site.”

“I stayed in a hotel local and visited this particular beefeater the food was decent, with flavors that were generally enjoyable. However, the overall dining experience was significantly impacted by the atmosphere. A warm welcome and friendly service can make a big difference, and unfortunately, that was lacking here. Being greeted and served with a smile would have gone a long way in making the experience more pleasant.”
