About The Sassy Coffee Company (Mander centre coffee shop)
The Sassy Coffee Company is a coffee shop in Wolverhampton, found inside the Mander Centre at 51-53 Dudley St. The business started out of a van in the Wulfrun Centre before moving into its current cafe space, so it now serves from a proper room instead of a vehicle. The kitchen prepares both hot and cold dishes, including a full cooked breakfast and a sausage and bacon roll. Cappuccino sits on the coffee list alongside other freshly brewed drinks. Customers can sit down and eat at the tables inside.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the breakfast, singling out the cooked and all day breakfast as good value, along with a sausage and bacon roll. Coffee gets steady praise too, with a delicious cappuccino and great tasting coffee mentioned, and the staff are repeatedly called friendly and helpful. Several describe the space in the Mander Centre as clean and welcoming, with seating inside or at tables in the walkway out front. The complaints are specific. One diner called the breakfast the worst they had had, citing overdone fried eggs, spicy sausage, frozen mushrooms, margarine in the butter pots and too many baked beans, plus tasteless tea. Another found the coffee a bit watery, one noted the service was slower when busy, and one was surprised to pay extra for takeout. One reviewer who first knew the business as a van in the Wulfrun Centre says it has taken off since moving into a proper space, and another had coffee served at a cars and coffee event.

“It's a nice little cafe in the Mander Centre: bright, clean, well-kept and welcoming. The cooked breakfast I had was excellent, good quality and really decent value too. The staff are friendly and efficient. You can sit inside or there are tables out the front in the shopping centre walkway, which is a nice spot to sit in. Just one issue- the coffee I had was a bit on the watery side. If that could be improved I would give five stars.”

“The worst breakfast my wife and I have ever had. Fried eggs that were over done, sausage that was spicy, mushrooms that were from frozen, butter pots that contained margarine (and very bland at that) and far too many baked beans. My wifes tea was tasteless and the coffee was no better. Neither of us could get anywhere near finishing the meals, certainly not value for money, and would not eat there again.”
