Ava's Cafe and Bar is a coffee shop inside the Mander Centre in Wolverhampton, serving bottomless hot drinks and afternoon tea. The afternoon tea includes a festive version with a savoury selection and a toastie. The food menu covers brunch, small plates and grilled sandwiches, with loaded fries on offer too. Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the friendly staff and a welcoming, relaxed room with beautiful decor and comfy sofas, where people meet friends, catch up over coffee or get some work done. Close behind is the food and cake selection. Diners name a biscoff brownie with clotted cream, loaded fries, and a toastie that one called their firm favourite from a festive afternoon tea. Coffee draws repeat visits too. One regular praises a white mocha as yummy, and another coffee drinker rated the bottomless hot drinks a must. Several mention the variety on the menu, from brunch and cakes to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and a few call the food fresh, well presented and good value. No recurring complaints appear in the reviews. Regulars describe visiting often for an afternoon coffee, and the rotating specials mean there is always something new to try, such as the brownie that was the special on one visit.

“What a lovely hidden gem in Wolverhampton! The décor is absolutely beautiful, the kind of aesthetic you’d usually expect to travel to Birmingham or beyond for, so it was such a pleasant surprise to find it right inside the Mander Centre. The food and drinks were fantastic too. There’s something for everyone, from cakes and brunch options to great hot and cold drinks, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. They even offer afternoon tea! The atmosphere was welcoming, and perfect for catching up with friends. I will definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy café with amazing food and gorgeous interiors.”
