About Kismet Coffee
Kismet Coffee is a coffee shop at Unit 06 in Wolverhampton, placed between the train and bus stations. Books of quotes and motivational titles sit on the tables, so customers have something to read alongside a drink. The drinks include a chai latte and a vanilla matcha, and the kitchen makes hot toasted sandwiches, among them a spicy tikka toastie served with a side salad. The layout is spacious, with glossy tables, comfortable seating and mood lighting. Customers can bring their dogs along. The owner is often on site and talks with customers about the story behind the name Kismet Chaii.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the toasted hot sandwiches, with the chicken tikka panini and the spicy tikka toastie named repeatedly, the toastie praised for its jalapeno kick and a fresh salad on the side. Close behind are the drinks: a smooth flat white, a vanilla matcha and a chai latte, with one reviewer pleasantly surprised by the espresso. A salmon and cream cheese bagel also gets a mention. Many describe the warm lighting and cosy feel, and the little positivity and mindfulness books left on the tables, which several say help them step away from their phone. Staff are consistently called friendly and welcoming, and a number of visitors mention chatting with the owner about the story behind the name. Its spot by the train station suits those stopping between connections, and one reviewer prefers it to a station Costa. No recurring complaints appear. Reviewers also mention plenty of plug sockets and a student discount, and one visitor finished a hot sandwich and salad while reading a mindfulness book left on the table.

“A really lovely small coffee shop right by the train station, with a good range of hot and cold drinks including some unique ones. Far better than a station Costa! Staff are consistently friendly and it's always clean and cosy.”

“Accidentally stumbled upon this cafe as my train was cancelled but a little blessing in disguise. A beautifully, warm atmosphere and I was lucky enough to meet the owner who told me the story behind name of the store and reason for opening. Would highly recommend visiting and supporting the business 🫶🏽”

“Best cafe I’ve ever been to. Food & drinks are always 10/10 and it’s so cosy. Can’t even summarise this place; all I can say is that you won’t be disappointed. Staff are always so friendly too! ❤️☕️ Cafe is also wheelchair accessible which is so important”

“I occasionally come to Kismet and it’s one of the best cafes in Wolverhampton. The atmosphere calms you down as soon as you step into the room. The food and drinks are so delicious, it leaves you coming back for more. Everything is thought out, from books to encourage more conversations, spacious layouts and mood lighting to set the tone. I would definitely recommend going here.”

“Such a lovely first visit with my mum! Tee and James/Josh were so professional and welcoming. The shop is super cozy with warm lighting, cute decor, and positivity books on the tables. Tee (the owner) is funny and so easy to talk to. He told us all about his journey from London to Wolverhampton and the beautiful meaning behind the name "Kismet Chaii." It’s rare to find a place where you feel this valued as a customer. The salmon and cream cheese bagel and the chai latte were absolutely delicious!”
