Customer Review Summary

Most reviewers come for the Brook Breakfast, with eggs, bacon, sausage and tomatoes on buttered tiger loaf toast, described as hot, fresh and cooked right. One calls it the best English breakfast in the Midlands. Close behind is afternoon tea, with sandwiches, pork pies, sausage rolls, scones and cakes that reviewers describe as home made. One diner also suggests the pulled pork tiger loaf sandwich with stuffing, apple sauce and gravy. Beans and eggs on toast and a jacket potato also earn praise, along with a well prepared americano and a chocolate milkshake. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, and several say the quality and portions are fair for the money. The main criticism comes from one reviewer who found the coffee burnt and thought the pancakes, which were okay, tasted store bought, while also saying the breakfast was too large to finish. Several single out the cakes, and one afternoon tea diner notes that whatever could not be eaten was boxed up to take home.

“Another great visit to New Brook Coffee House in Wolverhampton! The staff is friendly, and the food is consistently high-quality. I enjoyed the jacket potato on my first visit, and today's beans and eggs on toast was just as delicious. I'll definitely be returning.”

“Not local from here and came here on a whim. We called up previously 30 minutes before closing and they were happy to seat me and my friend. Did not expect the quality and quantity at such a fair price. The staff were amazing and super friendly, will definitely be coming back if I’m nearby again! 😊”

“Best English breakfast I’ve had in the Midlands, hands down. Proper homely gaff with a warm, welcoming vibe, and the staff are just as lovely as the food. Everything tasted fresh and cooked right - you can tell they care. We stopped in while passing through on the way back to Bristol and it was the perfect pit stop.”
  • Angel
“Beautiful little spot for breakfast, lunch or just hot drinks Certainly made my day. My Sister and I ordered hot chocolate and latte with Brook House breakfast. Absolutely brilliant, tasted fantastic 👌🏾💯 The atmosphere and service was top class. Checking on us and asking how the food was. Fridays as we could see was very busy, they also have a booking system aswell as walk ins which is so needed. Definitely a place I would recommend. Thanks Lynsey 😊”
