Quick info
About The Pendulum - Indian Bar & Grill
The Pendulum is a pub and Indian bar and grill on Blaydon Road in Wolverhampton, set up as a walk-in venue where the team seats guests on the door even on busy Saturday nights. The kitchen turns out a wide Indian range, with the Chef's Special chicken curry, butter chicken and garlic naan among the regular orders, alongside pilau rice, fish pakora and a mixed grill from the grill section. The bar and grill format combines the pub setting with a full Indian menu, so guests can move from a drink at the bar to a table for a sit-down meal. Diners should expect the kitchen to take time, and ordering at the counter is part of the format. The Pendulum sits on the edge of the city and serves as a straightforward local stop for Indian food in a pub room.

“Arrived after 19:30 on a Saturday night, without booking. It was very busy but the staff managed to find us a table for two. Waited about 30 minutes for our food but the wait was well worth it. Food was excellent (Chef's Special chicken curry, butter chicken, garlic naans, pilau rice and fish pakora). Will definitely eat here again.”
