“Best coffees by a country mile, even better service. Would recommend. And Lizzie in particular was amazing - I was having a rough day but speaking to her really cheered me up. Really polite and friendly staff, don’t see that anymore”

“An absolute gem! Our go to coffee shop on the Wirral; coffee and food always fab! We go regularly enough that we've had the pleasure to get to know the staff who are always warm, friendly and welcoming even when they are clearly rushed off their feet! Special mention to Izzy who always takes the time to ask how you are, even when super busy and is fab at what she does! 🫶Our dog would also like us to mention Jaz who she assumes will give her treats whenever she sees her! 🐶”

“We’ve been regulars here for a couple of years, and this place remains our absolute favorite spot for coffee. The atmosphere is fantastic, the coffee is consistently excellent, and the team goes above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. It’s rare to find an independent coffee shop that nails both top-tier coffee and genuinely warm, attentive service, but this team does it every single time. They even make a fuss over our dog, Lily, every time we walk through the door—stocking her up with treats and affection. Honestly, I think she loves coming here just as much as we do! We specifically wanted to leave a review to highlight one of the incredible members of staff who regularly serves us—the lovely barista with the distinct eyeliner. She is hands-down one of the main reasons we keep coming back week after week. She is always incredibly polite, friendly, and hard-working, consistently greeting us with a warm smile and brilliant service even when the shop is rushing off its feet. If you’re deciding between a big chain and a local independent, come here—you won’t find better coffee, a nicer team, or a more welcoming spot for you and your dog!”

“Rude staff and very poor service!! Preferring to support a local independent business rather than the nearby coffee chain, I have been a loyal customer from the beginning. However on several recent visits now I have left vowing to never go back and after my most recent visit today I’m regrettably done with the place. I can tolerate most things but not rude staff! Why can’t people who work in a customer facing role understand the importance of good customer skills. A hello, please, thank you, goodbye are all very simple words to say and can make the difference between a good or bad visit regardless of how the coffee tastes. To the young lady with the eyeliner ( sorry I don’t know your name) you were lovely when first starting… but now just plain obnoxious and seemingly unable to part with any of the simple words above mentioned. You may now be a great barista but you need to learn some basic manners!”
