  “The outdoor area is lovely, but unfortunately the indoor space is often dirty, with crumbs left on the tables. Today, our coffee was served with a dirty saucer, which I find quite disrespectful to customers. It’s a basic level of cleanliness that you would expect when being served a coffee. It’s a shame because the place itself has a lot of potential.”

  “Very slow service for drinks and food and not particularly busy - no warning of this on arrival. Staff clearly uninterested. Poached eggs overcooked and cold, no seasoning, not fresh sourdough. Partner ordered just sourdough toast - not even toasted - over £5. Trying to be hipster but not worth it.”

  “So such a shame, so the is no gluten free cake, the menu however basic does not state if it offers gluten free. You have to interrupt the girls conversation with the kitchen hand to get questions answered. The decaf coffee was nice and the only thing that gets the 2 star It’s very noisy not a place to read a book or take a call due to the nose music turn up and down and the noise from the machine. No consistency as the next lot of customers where tables served with menus but I had to wait at the desk and ask to see menus etc How is this business still going with this sort of consistency is interesting. Extremely disappointed with the service and offering here. Don’t bother coming to Oxton becuase this is all the is really”

  “A lovely coffee shop. Great coffee and helpful staff. The breakfast menu looked appetising. We opted for some cakes. Portions were massive.”

  “This place is not what it used to be. Staff are not welcoming and rather rude. The food is so overpriced and comes out cold. The potatoes on the breakfast were rock hard and cold. We told staff and flippant apology was made. For two breakfasts and a kids scrambled egg it came to £47! There are far nicer places with comfier chairs, better food and kinder staff!”

  “it took 20 minutes just to be served then the food took an hour long it may sound like i’m exaggerating but i’m not we didn’t order drinks and it still takes so long go to host instead of this place host do much better then home the service is outrageous.”

  “Only came in for a hot chocolate and natter. Makes me feel like a big kid when I have squirty cream and marshmallows. Super tasty 😋 Lovely atmosphere. Clean toilet.”

  “Nice coffee, though £3+ is expensive. Excellent sandwiches. Fabulous salt beef pastrami with cheese & gherkin sandwich, awesome. Will have to return to try the huge line of cakes.”

  “With exception to the window overlooking the bricked walled stairwell, this place has sub-standard decor and furniture with highly inflated prices. I was confused about the payment procedure. When I went up to the till to look at the menu to order, I was told it was table service. So at the end of our snack I waited for the bill to be brought to the table only to find out you have to go back to the till to pay. I took my son for a treat and could have taken him to the cinema for less! 1 latte 1 milkshake Poached egg on toast Carrott cake Total price £16.10 That said, what we did have was beautiful. The eggs were cooked to perfection The carrot cake was moist The best latte I've had in ages The staff were nice enough but came across bored. With exception to the blonde lady who took my payment.”
