About Mediterranevm at Bray
Mediterranevm at Bray is a Mediterranean restaurant on Marina in Windsor, set inside Bray Marina beside the River Thames and open since 2020. A conservatory with sliding doors opens toward the water, so tables have river views, and people stop in from their boats. The menu leans toward seafood, with monkfish wrapped in Parma ham with lobster sauce and whole sea bass, plus a tomahawk steak to share. Cocktails and wines are served alongside the food. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday and closed Mondays and Tuesdays. For Valentine's Day the room is decorated and live music is added.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often point to the riverside setting, with tables in an open conservatory or veranda overlooking the Thames and boaters stopping by. The fish comes close behind: the cod that one table all ordered, monkfish wrapped in Parma ham with lobster sauce, whole sea bass, and seafood dishes described as fresh and full of flavour. Fried calamari, truffle chips and tiramisu are called among the best one group has had, and a chicken liver pate with goats cheese is singled out as a combination reviewers had not seen before. Cocktails and the house white also earn praise, and a few call the prices reasonable for the quality. Service is widely called excellent, though one reviewer felt the servers were too busy to notice every need, and another found the food lukewarm on both visits. One says the restaurant is not easy to find. Several celebrated birthdays here, and one describes the staff singing happy birthday loudly over a dessert while other guests joined in.

“A gorgeous riverside setting with a spacious, airy veranda and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, with people stopping by from their boats. The service was impeccable and the food absolutely outstanding. The fried calamari, truffle chips and tiramisu were particular highlights and among the best we’ve had. We celebrated a birthday here and had a truly lovely time. Thank you to the whole team for making it so special!”

“The location is lovely with an open conservatory overlooking the Thames and the food was really really good. Tasty and delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. Our servers were also very good but I’ve given 4 stars only because I think they were too busy so weren’t always alert to ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall though, super lunch and I’m sure I’ll be back.”

“We visited on Easter Friday and had a table booked for 6 o’clock. It was quite quiet. It’s a lovely setting right by the river, so great views from the tables, I can imagine it’s lively in a sunny summers day. We had two chicken liver pate with goats cheese to start, which was incredible. I’ve never seen this combination before, but it just elevated the dish. For mains two of us had the monk fish wrapped in Parma ham with lobster sauce, and mash, and one of us had the whole sea bass. All of the dishes were absolutely fantastic again I’ve never seen monk fish served wrapped in Parma ham so theres some really nice creative dishes being served at this restaurant. We had the house white to drink, which was very nice, and a couple of cocktails, which were also excellent. The service was excellent throughout. The price is reasonable here which is surprising given the quality of the food served. The total bill came to £197 for the three of us, including a couple of additions I didn’t mention. We would definitely recommend and would visit again if in the area in future.”
