  “Awwwful. The chips were dry... I can't fathom how that's possible. Almost like they were dried out in an oven post fry or sat there for hours. Said yes to salt & vinegar (obvs) but he plonked the fish on top of the chips then S&V'd the fish only. So that was a soggy battery mess. Sad and still hungry as couldnt finish it and I will scoff chips till the cows come home”

  “Traditional fish and chips is stretching it extremely far, the cod is tiny and contained bones, never have i had bones in my cod ever!!! I dont think this place has ever peeled a potato and fried a chip from scratch either, they are like supermarket frozen chips. Never buying from there again. The Marlborough is by far the best chippy in Weymouth so if you drive i would suggest going offsite and not ruining your holiday with this below par food.”

  “Placed my order. My first option wasn't available. So went for cod & chips. Waited around 40 mins for this to be cooked. Took it back to my caravan. Chips were awful and we could eat them fish was just about edible. Definitely not worth the money and wouldn't order from there again.”

  “Having seen reviews was a bit worried. We had cod and chips on weds night when there was a deal on. It was excellent. Lovely and hot, plenty of it. Chips were crispy as was the batter and the fish was very good quality. The staff were very friendly. Would go back if staying there again.”

  “NOT GOOD. Wish I had read reviews before going there. Haven, i trusted you to have decent suppliers on your site. Smallest piece of not so nice cod in chewy batter. Chips dry and didn't taste good. Don't do there my advice.”

  “Took a chance despite the poor reviews and glad we did! Lovely chips, nice fish and gorgeous curry sauce. Delivered straight to our caravan and was 10 minutes earlier than expected. Fantastic job! Would have again! Edited to say--- this was for the cooks in Weymouth bay not little sea!”

  “Chippy is a disgrace. Battered dog mess and frozen chips cooked in crude oil and microwave curry. Some of the order was missing, namely a fish from a fish and chips order. God knows how they manage to keep a contract at a major British holiday brand. This meal was a disgrace to the catering industry.”
